What a wonderful bed & breakfast guest house. Very tastefully decorated, great attention to detail, large size bedrooms. The dining room, bar area and outside were excellent. I can't speak highly enough for the property and hospitality. We will be back.

The property, the location, the room, the hostess.... all very charming. We were made to feel welcome and very much at home. However, with mattresses coming a long way in recent years, the bed was a little hard for my preference...... but that is a very individual observation!! Everything as it should be. Comes with my recommendation!!!

I stayed at Hartfield Guest House on Thursday and Friday evening and would thoroughly recommend it. The lady who runs it was very helpful, the room was of a really high standard, great décor and facilities, large comfortable bed, great bathroom, even an outside terrace with garden furniture though not an advantage at the end of November! Breakfast was included...

Three nights at Hartfield Guest House where we were made exceptionally welcome. The room was comfortable and spacious and breakfast was delicious. But best of all was our hostess, Mel, for whom nothing was too much trouble. We'll certainly go back if we're in the area again.

I tour the country with a show and have stayed in a lot of guest houses and I can say, hands down, that this is one of the best! The room, the breakfast and the hosts exceed expectations. Thank you! I would definitely book for a personal stay if I was in the area again!

Two couples - given lovely spacious bedrooms. Bathroom/shower rooms were extremely well planned. Complimentary toiletries basket was overflowing. Tea/coffee making - equally generous and replenished. Fresh milk provided daily. We couldn't fault the way we were looked after. Nothing was too much trouble for Mel - the lady who looked after us so well. Thank you.

IT’S BRILLIANT. What can I say, the place and the food exceed expectations but the jewel in the crown is Mel, a down to earth sparkling host that makes your stay a joy. So glad we found this place. We stayed here to explore the Iron Bridge Gorge museums approximately 3 miles away and if we ever need somewhere to...

This place is gorgeous. Immaculate with hosts to match. Nothing is to much trouble. Family room sleeps a family of four. Our children are heading towards teenagers and still a great size room not to feel cramped. Will come back.
