Friendly staff who serve you,a very good choice of food on the menu, I recommend the gammon steak not at all salty like sometimes they can be and a nice calm atmosphere there, a lovely country town pub

Have been to the Saracens many a time and loved it. Sunday lunch by contrast was very poor. Food was tepid to cool. No one asked whether our food was ok. Pork without stuffing and no offer of stuffing. No offer to choose a desert. No enquiry whether we'd enjoyed our meal. No offer of dessert. No class. A pity...

Would really recommend this pub/hotel for their food and service. It is a clean, quaint place with areas that are quite private if required. Very clean too. The bar service was polite and swift and we were advised of a wait on food due to the high demand. We could see it was busy and were quite happy to sit...

Stayed here as a family visit Nov 2016 Location: Located in Highworth on High Street, we picked this hotel for its proximity to Cotswolds. Had ample parking at the hotel car park- there is parking at the front of the hotel also (pay and display) but better to park at the back in the car park owned by the hotel....

I stayed here from the 16th January for 4 nights and absolutely loved it. I was working a late shift so it gave me the opportunity to get out in the morning and have a walk about. Highworth is a beautiful Little place and worth a visit. the hotel itself was a stunning pub and the staff were all super...

I have stayed an other Arkell's pubs and they have always been adequate to good, the Saracens Head was maintained this standard. First of all plentiful free parking, always a bonus. Reception is at the bar as usual, the only girl there was fairly busy but took the time to check me in without becoming flustered and was very helpful....

This was a difficult to one to rate - I'll try and explain. We arrived at around 18.00 on a Saturday and the place was rammed - I think there was a party earlier, and there were people everywhere. Thankfully there were plenty of staff on, and we were son checked in and shown to our rooms. My room was...

If it was not for the fact everything was booked up we would have left this hotel as quickly as we entered. We are fans of the Arkells pub chain and have stayed in several in the past however this one is by far the weakest link......reception....after registering our card at reception it was off to room 7 on the...

We stayed here for the Fairford Air Show for for 2 nights. The room was clean and tidy an had everything we required. The bathroom was small but fully functional and we had clean towels on both days. It was facing the main road which could be noisy but we always take ear plugs so it did not cause any...
