Sunday dinner was delicious, I had nut roast, my partner had beef, the cheesecake is the best I've had. Good pub to sit at the bar on a Friday night too! Bar staff are very friendly. Well worth a visit!

Appalling customer service. After a phone call to the proprietors explaining about the dietary requirements of one of our guests, we were assured that they could cater for us. However this was not the case, as our guests food was clearly cross contaminated resulting in illness within minutes of arriving home after the meal.

We love visiting, great food, friendly staff & atmosphere! Would definitely recommend to couples & families alike, very kid friendly with a bouncy castle and pirate ship out the back as well as pool tables outside under cover.

The only nice thing was the manager behind the bar. We were sent to the pub from the sister pub after a booking error by the Landlord there. The manager at this pub said it often happened. The beds and sheets were nice, but the food, dirty rooms, filthy fridges, completely false image of the rooms compared to the flier...

Up an extremely cluttered staircase to a cramped room, but it did have extremely comfortable single beds. Good basic pub meals available in the restaurant. Would have been helpful to have been told before we arrived for our reserved night's stay that they were no longer doing breakfasts for their guests. As we wanted an early start (7.30 am) had...

Picked here as very close to J15 of M4. Very easy to find, with a large car park. Very pleasant service and good food. Excellent lamb with apricot pie! Sounded interesting so had to have it. Very tasty and good. Good outdoor area, shaded from the sun. Well worth to short detour from the motorway.

We had a lovely evening with very good friends, at the Patriot Arms. The food was lovely, no complaints there. 2 of us had the steak, which was cooked to perfection. After our meal, we were joined by Dickie(Paul) the Landlord and Mike the chef, which ended the evening Perfectly. They also have live music.

Went for Sunday lunch. Much improved menu. Traditional roast was well presented and show the chef actually knows what he's doing. The new management have still got a lot to do however to convince people that it's worth coming back. And from this experience my answer is yes

Popped in for a light lunch, firstly no lunch menu's were available and the pub seemed reaally empty. The decor is not welcoming and I definitely won't be going again. After the young girl eventually found a menu I ordered my lunch. An absolute age later (I was expecting high quality after the wait), the food arrived - the 'salad'...
