This Premier Inn is perfectly located for access to the Roayl Derby Hospital. From room to hospital check in was 6 minutes walk. Parking is provided which saves fighting the congested hospital site for a parking space which the hospital papers warn can take 60 minutes. As expected the room was well appointed, clean and spacious enough with good sized...

Room very clean and surprisingly spacious. Breakfast buffet had a good variety of options. Staff friendly and helpful. Room a bit on the chilly side when we arrived but a member of the Reception staff came up and sorted very promptly. Location good for us. Aldi next door a bonus.

This hotel is ideally situated by Derby Hospital but you seem to pay extra for that privilege! The rooms are of the good standard that you expect for a Premier Inn. There is a Beefeater pub and restaurant next door which is ok but somewhat overpriced for pub food.

We went to alton towers on a saturday and saved about £20 on the room by driving 30mins closer to the m1. Such a good hotel staff were really friendly and polite and the rooms were top notch. There's a mcdonalds a 5 minute drive away and a pub called the King's highway a 3 minute drive away which is...

The room in the new wing was spacious and very comfortable, well up to the standard of Premier Inn. We as a couple prefer a twin room and sleeping on made up settee was adequate, but not as nice as a dedicated bed.

The room was really clean, as usual for Premier In. A very comfy bed and attached to a reasonable restaurant- not the best if you are into healthy eating but a great breakfast. Main issue is the room was really hot, there is no method of cooling the room other than keeping the window open which meant noise from the...

Only one set of towels for a room booked for two ... hardly a big deal but irritating! Website kept saying rooms from. £45 when cheapest available was £65 ... making it tricky to compare rooms between different premier inns. Check in staff "offish" on arrival. Not sure whether she was having a bad day or had a problem with...

Hi Martin, Thank you for your review. I'm sorry to hear of your disappointment with the service you received during your recent experience at the Derby West Premier Inn. We stayed here for 1 night when going to the football. The hotel is immaculate, rooms are a good size and the beds extremely comfortable. Breakfast was a good standard as well. Couldn't ask for any more. Close to the city centre and only 2 miles from Anfield. I would definitely recommend it.

Good rooms and price is good for what you get. Great for families. We had breakfast which was nice and plentiful. Only negative was small room size when you have 2 children beds, no room to walk around beds. Toiletries could be better quality.

We had a lovely stay here we were only having a flying visit seeing the brother in law but the staff were extremely friendly on reception and the breakfast at the beefeater restaurant was delicious wish we had more time to have stayed an extra night. Will definitely book here again when next up visiting.
