Although I didn't actually get to stay at the hotel, because of Covid, I wanted to write a review to say how very impressed I am by the level of customer service offered by Jury's Inn. I was in touch with Revenue Management and in particular Mr David Hetherington, who steered me through a refund difficulty (which was down to Wowcher, not the hotel) and helped bring a frustrating situation to a suitable conclusion. There is absolutely no doubt that once it is possible, I shall again be booking a room at the hotel in Derby.

Comfy room and good service at a very reasonable price. The room was clean and comfy, the only downside being a smell of cigarette smoke - I assume from someone having a crafty smoke the night before. Covid controls are good and well enforced. The location is excellent being right in the city centre.

We stayed here for the night whilst on our way to the Peak District so weren’t looking for anything special. We paid about £40 for our nights stay and it is absolutely worth the money. I will say though that for the same price the sizes of the room do vary quite a lot, ours was very much on the smaller double size but for the same price our friends had a room nearly double the size of ours. The bed is one of the comfiest I’ve ever slept in, it was amazing and so luxurious. Our room was on the side of the building next to a very busy road - with the window open the noise is very very loud. It didn’t bother us but it could potentially bother some. The shower was great and was very hot. All in all I would definitely stay again, it was 100% worth the money, if not probably more but I would probably pay a little more for the bigger rooms!

Incredible! Staff were welcoming and pleasant throughout my stay. (3 nights) The service was 5* and had really good chats with staff on where we could entertain ourselves with our 3 night stay. Would recommend to anybody considering staying at this establishment.

We had a great stay at the Jurys Inn for a few nights. Located a 5 mins drive / 12-15 mins walk from the centre. Which was ideal with kids as your close enough to the shops and restaurants but enough out of the way its a lot quieter. Staff are very helpful and polite on check in. Breakfast was not included in the price but due to the current situation, its only a Continental. I would advise going else where, which you would get more and for the same price. Head straight down the high Street opposite entrance of the hotel. Rooms are clean and have all that you could need for 1 or 2 nights in a hotel ie iron, kettle with condiments, TV and plenty of plugs. There is a bar by reception which is very reasonably priced. Didnt give it top marks as we found the beds uncomfortable. To be honest we can live without a lot of things when spending 1 or 2 nights ina hotel. The beds are the most important thing really. As that what you are paying for, a nights sleep. Shame really other wise top marks would be given.
