We stayed here for a friend's birthday (day at the races in Uttoxeter and night out in Derby). The Hotel was exactly as you'd expect for a Travellodge - clean and perfectly functional. One staff member in particular went out of her way to be friendly and helpful. It's opposite the Derby football ground so probably one to avoid on...

We were greeted by well trained and pleasant staff enabling our stay to start well. The generous rooms were clean and very warm. The beds are large and comfy, the showers are invigorating. The only downside is the road noise and that's not the fault of the hotel, but it means opening the window is a tricky decision. We had paid...

Having stayed at this hotel a number of times I have always found the staff very obliging and helpful and the hotel clean and tidy both in the rooms and public areas, strongly recommend this hotel and it is very good value for money.

Stayed Thursday-Saturday. Hotel was very quiet and the stay was pleasant. All staff were polite and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble as we were treated as individual customers. No problems encountered. The only down side was that people do smoke around the main entrance as this is the designated area.

I spent two nights here and found the experience very pleasant. The room and the whole Hotel in general was very clean and well maintained and the staff friendly and helpful. The food was very good although choice for evening meals a little limited. Having said that I wouldn't expect Michelin stars in a budget hotel! Should the need arise...

Booked Travelodge as visiting friends and didn't particularly need anything too luxurious. That said, the room was spacious, the bed was really comfortable and the whole room was clean and smelled really fresh. All staff encountered were very friendly and courteous and to top it off I was only around 15-20 minutes from the city centre, so an excellent location....

Welcoming and with friendly staff. Clean and well appointed room. Firm comfortable bed, nicely made up. A business hotel aimed at that market sector. Good taxi service to town. Car parking is an extra cost.

Currently staying here, I have used this hotel for maybe 7 years. I have used it for Modelling Photoshoots as well as staying here with friends. The hotel is located across from the Derby County Football Stadium and less than a mile from the railway Station, it is 1/2 mile from the A52 and 6 miles from the M1 Motorway....
