We spent a fantastic few days away at this hotel. The room was lovely with a roll top bath and huge shower. The bed was really comfy and the staff were very friendly. We took our dog so chose a basement room with its own entrance. Our dog was allowed in the main bar which was great. The bar food...

Booked for two nights but and dinner on Hotel du Vin's Jan/Feb sale. Excellent value! The hotel, apart from the entrance area was warm and relaxing. The main door are was cool due to cold outside temps and a strong wind blowing. However, after this was mentioned to staff the heating was immediately turn up in that area , problem...

Booked in for a night with a friend and loved the whole ambiance and great spacious bedroom with a cheeky bath in the middle of the room! Perfect for loads of restaurants all around and of course Betty's for afternoon tea. Also very close to the Fat Badger for some cracking real ale!

We stayed at the hotel just after the New Year on a very special Half Board deal. For the price. No complaints and highly recommended. A few facts - An attractive period collection of Georgian houses knocked together. Opposite the Stray. 10 mins from the station. 5 mins to town, Bettys & the Turkish Baths (& Conference Centre). Situated in...

Well, they pass you by, in the wink of a young girls eye. Bruce I'm sure wasn't writing about this hotel, but it's "naughties" height of sophistication has certainly faded. A newspaper article displayed in the gents toilet shows it was awarded best boutique hotel in the U.K. by the Sunday Times in 2009. Now the hotel could be easily...

Stayed at hotel du vin Harrogate on a Friday night on a offer, with dinner included in the B and B price. Stayed in one of the basement rooms which was very nicely furnished and equipped but let down by the mouldy shower and tatty entranceway to the room itself. The biggest issue and disappointment was the evening meal. We...

We stayed as a family group between Christmas and New Year. Rooms here have been recently refurbished with new super comfy king beds although not the bathrooms which are showing their age. Our bathroom had a broken extractor fan meaning that on one of the coldest nights of the year we had to open the bedroom window to let all...

Even though the hotel was very busy it didn't feel it. Staff accommodating and helpful with car parking Only comment is that the lounge/ bar area is very dark during the day and for the size of the hotel could have more seats in the area. Located within a very short walk to shops and Betty's

A beautiful period terraced building with old world charm, in an ideal central location. Very comfortable spacious classical rooms, many overlooking the main thoroughfare with a very relaxed and comfortable lounge/bar area. Some limited private parking at front and rear. Great beer garden or smoking area to the rear. No gym or exercise facilities. Food which should be a highlight...
