We stayed on Friday night as we were there to see Jools Holland at the Conference Centre. Patricia , the owner, could not do enough to help us and we were very impressed with the room. I would stay here again if in Harrogate. Everything is just a short stroll away. The breakfast was very nice indeed with a good...

Spent last weekend in Harrogate and a friend kindly booked Alvera for a few of us. We stayed 2 nights and the accommodation was warm, clean and comfortable. The owner/manager was very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. A real gem of a lady.

Very quiet. Walk in shower with some toiletries provided. Nice and ward and plenty of bedding including pillows. Very Clean. Warm welcome...

I cancelled my booking with the hotel by phone and email but was charged a £200 no show fee. I called but was told they had no record of the email and couldn't remember the phone call. The owner was extremely rude.

You enter and notice the rather stale air from joss sticks or oil burners, definitley needs an airing. The room was a very good size - clean and nicely presented. The bed was so soft it was uncomfortable. There was a mattress topper 5 inches thick - once you were close to the edge of the bed it had no...
