We were greeted and taken to our room, there was no help to with our bags. The room was oh dear where do I start? The curtains did not close fully, the valances on beds were ripped and too long, the quilt covers were creased as if sat on. The air vent between our beds was very cracked and obvious...

My wife and I had business in nearby Harrogate so decided to stay at the Queens Head rather than in the town itself. The first thing that met the eye when we arrived was a blazing open fire in the bar and a few people chatting at the bar. We were greeted by a friendly lady (the barmaid) who was...

Today we had the pleasure of holding a party lunch at the Queen's Head at Kettlesing. The service and the food were wonderful. We had pre-ordered and this really helped. Full marks to Louise and her team for coping so well with us. We really recommend the pub.

Comfortable accommodation, fantastic food and welcoming atmosphere in a beautiful location. Ticks every box. There is loads of off street parking to the rear. Rooms are homely with en-suite, wifi and large TVs. Traditional food served in the bar or restaurant, all good and all freshly prepared. Breakfast is also very good.

A nice evening saw us walking to this pub from our accommodation, Cold Cotes. We ordered our food, accommodated me well considering I am coeliac and what a lovely plateful of food. Whilst we were eating a storm blew up, torrential rain, winds etc, we thought great no car 😢 when the landlady heard this she said you can't walk...

Stayed here for one night after attending a wedding at the Millenium hall in the village. The lady who looked after us was very pleasant and helpful. The room we were allocated was spotless and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom area was large and the shower efficient. The full English breakfast was cooked to perfection.
