Excellent to read that once again you enjoyed your visit, thank you for taking the time to post your kind comments and I look forward to welcoming you again. However, disappointed to read that you booked through Travel Zoo. Next time you are looking to stay please do contact us directly. The reception and reservations team are under orders to ensure that, subject to availability, they offer you the same rate/ deal as any package you see on alternative 'voucher sites', and when we can avoid paying third party commissions I'm sure they will be able to enhance your stay so we both benefit. Do call us direct when you are looking to return and feel free to press them for something extra as a reward for booking direct!!.

The staff were exceptionally helpful. I was moved to a room near the lift as I was on crutches, I lost some letters in the car park, they were found and returned to me in the post a day later, the food in the restaurant was very good, and the service was great.

Where can we park at the crown hotel?
You can park at the hotel for a £12 overnight charge. Parking spaces are extreme limited. They can be pre-booked in advance. Alternatively, there are a number of public car parks and on street places to park very close by and reception can direct you to these. We advise guest to drop their luggage at reception before parking.

Are dogs allowed in the public bar I of the hotel or just in the rooms?
I’m afraid dogs aren’t allowed in the public bar as it is part of the brasserie restaurant. They are very welcome in the lounge and were happy to bring any food or drinks through to you.
