My son and I stayed here for 4 nights for family reasons and found a warm, friendly welcome as well as comfort. The hotel is well-equipped and professionally-run. Great breakfasts catering to different tastes and needs. Definitely to be recommended and would happily return.

It is not always the case that Victorian villas converted to hotels are a success, but the Ascot House Hotel most certainly is. Our stay was brief, being for two nights, but we were well-pleased with the accommodation. The hotel has very obviously been well-maintained, being in good decorative repair. Our bedroom was bright and cheerful, the bathroom with a...

We stayed in this nice hotel for 2 nights. Our room was on the second floor, but was an executive. which meant it had a little living room with two easy chairs and a tv. The bed was a super king size, and very comfortable. We did not have the evening meals, but the breakfast was outstanding. If coming to...

I have just returned from a fabulous 4 night break at Ascot House.... The hotel is within easy walking distance from the centre of Harrogate and is one of the best small hotels I have stayed in. The rooms are large and spacious with the most comfortable hotel beds I have slept in. The rooms are of a very high...

The bed was one of the most comfortable we have ever used in a hotel. The room was spacious so we were not overheated. The breakfast was cooked to order with good quality ingredients. Staff were friendly and attentive. It was a ten minute walk from the Turkish baths and about 5 minutes from the conference centre. Being a little...

Stayed at this lovely hotel for one night at beginning of December, we booked the classic double with dinner, bed and breakfast, we were not disappointed, we had been upgraded to the Baxter room on arrival which was beautiful and obviously unexpected. We went to the bar for pre dinner drinks and were met with very friendly and helpful staff,this...

I stayed here whilst on a business trip. The hotel has free parking. It is close to the town centre and there are plenty of bars and restaurants within easy reach. I was made welcome at check-in. The hotel retains many fine original features but the rooms have been tastefully decorated in a contemporary style. My room was comfortable and...
