Nothing could be further from a Travel Lodge. It made me think Mrs Marple would have stayed here when visiting Harrogate. We were fortunate in meeting one of the chefs and he recommended the lamb, how right he was. We all ordered it and all gave it 15 out of 10. The starters were also brilliant. Unfortunately we could not... More

This is a nice enough Hotel, however to be clear it is primarily a restaurant. The downstairs had all of the tables set for an evening meal, only two by the small bar were for drink only customers. Everything looked very clean and high class. Staff and Service were fine, the people were very helpful. Nice real Ale, the meal... More

3 of us went here for dinner. They do an Early Bird menu which suited us for time. We all had different starters & two of us had the same main course. The food was delicious and we all could have eaten several of the choices on the menu. Two courses cost £15 and 3 courses cost £31. We only... More

Nice boutique feel, our group had a room in the main hotel (a bit creaky, no shower but a handset over the bath) and also one of the apartments in an adjacent building. Nice enough but not 4 star. The breakfast in the brasserie restaurant is epic and superb.

Just stayed here in this lovely quirky place, for a second time now. Love it. The staff, owners are so friendly and chatty. Stayed in room 15 on both occasions but will be staying in room 5 on the next booking.each room is different which gives it the quirky Ness this hotel deserves I think. It looks lovely from the outside as... More

This is a unique hotel both in decor and ambience. Our bedroom was reminiscent of a French bordello with heavy taselled curtains, maroon wallpaper and a french-style distressed wooden bed with scrolled headboard. Ooh la la ! There is a good supply of piping hot water for showers and the bedroom was spotlessly clean. Breakfasts are cooked to order and... More
