We stayed here for two nights, this weekend gone..We stayed in the lodge across the road which has ample parking, the lodges are quiet and you have all the amenities of the hotel, Bar and Restaurant without any of the noise. Bar food is excellent served by extremely friendly staff, Breakfast in Restaurant is all cooked to order, which makes...

Spent a weekend here and thoroughly enjoyed the break. We had a lovely room called DeValera. The rooms all seem to be named. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Food is fantastic, good home cooking and plenty of it. They bake their own tasty brown bread which is delicious. This is an old hotel full of character without mod...

The staff are so friendly and professional, the rooms a good size and very clean, but the breakfast.. BEAUTIFUL!! Cooked to order, absolutely delicious! The hotel itself is dated but because it is the oldest hotel in Ireland as far a I'm aware, so cant really be called dated!! The only thing it would loose points with me is, the...

This is my new favourite place to escape for a night or two to get away from the madness of city life. We stayed in the lodge with a small balcony looking over the...

I just wanted to say what an amazing dinner we had here on Xmas day. The table was laid beautifully and the food was first class. The service was also first class, such lovely staff, although we never dine out at Xmas the wooden bridge certainly made it feel very Christmassy. Definitely would recomend.
