On a prime spot on the Wexford quay, the Talbot has been serving the town for some time. The rooms are in need of a facelift but they are clean, tidy and a good size. The restaurants and bar are on a mildly maritime theme. We didn't eat in the restaurant but the bar food was fine. Lunchtimes are very...

Stayed with a friend and two children for two nights. And from the time we walked in we felt so welcome. The staff were fantastic so helpful and friendly and the kids had a great time in the kids club provided by the hotel. I will definitely be back to stay again.

Stayed here beginning of July. As one can see we are seasoned travellers and this hotel compares well with the many others we have stayed in. Check-in and check-out 10/10. Breakfast and evening meals okay but always pre-book evening meal as soon as possible as we could not be accomodated when we requested a change of sitting time. Double room...

This is a very average hotel - not 4 star, I'm comparing with what I know of good 4 star hotels like The Knightsbrook in Trim, Co Meath. Family room - small with small double bed and creaky bunks, not airy enough for comfortable sleep for 4 people in this room. Opened windows to let air in but noisy fans...

This was my second stay at the hotel. We got a good deal for one night b&b and dinner. I requested a sea view room which I must recommend as the views from the front of the hotel are lovely. The staff are all friendly and attentive. I am a vegan and the receptionist noted this on my dinner reservation....
