I will start with the positives. The hotel was beautifully dressed for Christmas and the reception area was clean and tidy. The staff were very polite and well presented. The rooms were spacious and cleaned daily. The Negatives On closer inspection the seats and tables in the reception area were very worn The staff even though they were very polite...

Haven't stayed in whites for a few years now and to be honest I was a little disappointed, not sure what's changed but it's just not as good as it was. It's all the small things that I think have changed, lack of management presence on the floor, the cleanliness has clipped and the general attention to detail isn't as...

Just similar to any other Clayton. The suite was nice, with sea view and a lot of space and storage. Nice living room area with large TV screen. The room could benefit from a little refurbishment. Not sure about the cleanliness, the sink of the bathroom looked old and a bit dirty. Breakfast was good, a lot of choice -...

Clayton Whites hotel was above and beyond our expectations, from the reception desk to the room to the food, everything was first class. The leisure facilitates are top class, they will lend you a towel if you don't have one and swimming caps are needed. I would highly recommend this hotel and for anyone who like their cocktails, try the...

Stayed here for two nights, and not particularly impressed overall. The hotel itself is tired, and in need of some serious remedial works to bring it up-to-date and banish that '70s feeling', with too much clunkiness in the controls from the TV to the shower, though the room itself was quiet, and the bed comfortable. Whilst the staff are friendly,...

Stayed in the hotel for 3 nights for work. The staff were very nice and helpful. I was upgraded to a suite which was huge and had really nice views over Wexford. Stay in hotels regularly for work and the breakfast here is one of the best with a wide variety of options. The hotel is in a really good...

I spent the last couple of days at a conference here and to be honest its poor, very poor. This hotel needs a lot of work and a lot of modernising. The room was ragged, dirty and dated with worn duvet covers and stains on the mattress. The bathroom was grubby, hairs everywhere, dirty grouting and a filty toilet brush...

Dear Guest, Many thanks for your review. I was naturally very concerned to read of the aspects of your stay which you found disappointing. May I apologize most sincerely for this and assure you that this is not the standard we strive to achieve here at the hotel. Rather than going into all the details of the issues you experienced...

Popped in for a quick bite to eat ahead of an event that evening. Not so pleasant smell through the hotel not sure how to describe it, old & musty. Ordered mains (chicken curry & a burger.) took 35mins to come out. (Early evening service) noticed straight away there was a film on top of the curry sauce (as if...

Room was exactly what we required, as we wished to avoid using the lift, extremely convenient. We had to alter our trip at short notice no problem switching. Sea food chowder beautiful, prawns excellent. Staff well trained. Would gladly revisit.
