I stayed at Cuasnog for just over a week while rehearsing at the Wexford Opera House and it was everything I could have wanted. Caitriona was the perfect host, making cake on arrival, washing some of my clothes, presenting some home made rhubarb tart to be warmed up on the beautiful wood burning stove, even lending me some golf clubs...

Once again we had a wonderful trip to the Wexford Festival Opera - the music was great and the accommodation even better. When we arrived, we received the usual warm welcome from Caitriona along with a cup of tea and some homemade bakewell buns! Our bed was so comfortable and cosy and the neighbourhood so quiet that we were assured...

Finally managing to have my parents to visit for the weekend cuasnog was the ideal location which turned out to to be much more. They were delighted with the hospitality, the home made jams and breads, the porridge with something special followed by a mouth watering omlet full of ingredients from the garden. Caitriona really helped make the long trip...

After three visits we've learned to relax and let Caitriona and Theo look after us, not only as guests but also as visitors to Wexford. Its worth extending your stay to get the full benefit of Caitriona's warmth and hospitality, and to experience this honest and richly cultural Irish town which is often overlooked as just an entry point. Cuasnog...

Cuasnog is an absolute gem as a B and B. Caitríona is so thoughtful in everything that she does. You are made to feel so welcome from the moment that you cross the threshold. There is a huge emphasis on sheer quality and environmental sustainability in Cuasnog ,a beautiful name inspired through influences from Caitríona's time in the Connemara Gaeltacht....

Great welcome from Caitriona and Theo. Had a good night sleep in the lovely double bed, the underfloor heating in the bathroom was a nice surprise and what a bath!!. Breakfast was excellent (not precooked), lots of home made produce including bread and marmalade. Would gladly recommend this accommodation within a short walk to the town centre.

Caitríona's hospitality can't be bettered, you feel like part of the Family. Bedrooms are spotless, breakfast is excellent. Town centre about a five minute walk - no noise whatsoever at night. A new, self-catering option is possible, this would be a great base for some work or a holiday break.

Definitely one of the best B&Bs in Ireland. I've stayed in Cuasnog a number of times, for work, over the last few months, and the welcome from Caitriona has always been excellent. The B&B has excellent clean facilities but is also setup in a sustainable way and things such as recycling are easy. The vegetable garden and hens add a...

Just so you know before reading this review, I'm an old friend of the owner Catriona; we met in College years ago. Anyway, she opened her B&B on a road in Wexford that I know well, my grandparents home was across the road. So I'm very familiar with the original layout of the houses there. Catriona has renovated the house...

Stayed 9 nights for the Plein Eire Art festival. Low key quiet area but a direct and easy walk downhill to town in 5 minutes. Enjoyed the surprise profferings of homemade delights by a pleasant, knowledgeable hostess. One,s room comes with the added bonus of a great little user friendly kitchen. A comforting stove and entertaining views of cheeky chickens...

Dear Bernie, when ever I need a 'pick-me-up' I think of your kind words and feel ashamed I haven't acknowledged that before now, but the Cuasnog merry-go-round continues, with a steady flow of interesting guests and Theo is also busy. In Sept I dug out the Hydrangea at the front door and dragged it to a neighbour's where it is...
