The Brandon house hotel is conveniently located in New Ross, Co. Wexford home of the emigrant trail. We used it as a base to explore Kilmore Quay twice, Hook head lighthouse and Loftus Hall (the most haunted house in Ireland), though the children were more than happy to stay in the hotel's swimming pool which is nicely child orientated (private... Currently in one of the Premium rooms on the "adults only" corridor Despite this, noise levels still seemed quite high (and I would be a heavy enough of a sleeper) We will start with the good, Food: Food was amazing, this is our second visit and food didn't disappoint. I had rabbit starter followed by a steak, she had the... More

Lovely location. Very comfortable hotel. Bedroom was warm and cosy. Bed comfortable. Bathroom a little old fashioned but perfectly adequate. We stayed Sunday and Monday. Lots of activity on the Sunday hotel very busy but service was very good. Monday was a quieter day and we were out sightseeing for the day. We went to Tintern Abbey and to Hook... More

Check-in was very efficient and the room was a nice size (this was with an upgrade). The hallways were in need of an update, especially the doors. The doors made a lot of noise when opening and closing right outside our room and kept one of us awake the first night. The lights on the walls were in need of... More

We went to the Brandon House Hotel for two nights for my Dads 80th birthday party, a big gang of us of all ages and two dogs! We had a great time and I couldn't praise the hotel and the staff enough. Great spa, excellent treatments, great leisure centre. Food was very good and service always came with a smile.... More

We booked a deluxe room and it was really nice. We ate in the Library bar for dinner. After ordering it took 45 minutes for the food to come out. When it arrived my order was wrong (i ordered a gluten free bun on the burger- with cheese, bacon, lettuce and Ballymaloe relish) it came out with just bacon and burger.... More

Just back from a great weekend at this hotel. Very friendly staff especially the girl in the bar who was wearing glasses(think her name was Niamh). Very attentive even though the bar was very busy. Ate both lunch & dinner in the bar, both times the food was perfect. Our room was spotless & cleaned each morning.

They have 2 rooms designated for people with pets so needless to say our dog loved it because it had a side entrance which made it easy for us to come and go as we pleased. The have a good size... My husband and I attended a wedding here on a Saturday. The drive up the avenue to the front of the hotel is nice and scenic and different to the usual approaches to hotels. Well-kept also. The wedding reception on arrival was in the lobby area as you come in the front door. The reception is also there. The lobby... More
