Went for afternoon tea with my mother in law to be and children. Was really yummy and the cakes were delicious and plentiful and scones were nice and soft inside. Beautiful place and have now booked our wedding here.

In bad need of a refurbishment as appeared not to been updated since the 1950's. Impression was very short of cash. Forgot to put salt and pepper on the restaurant tables until asked. Meal was very dry.Staff however pleasant and helpful.

For such a grand exterior this hotel on the inside is a different story, the decor is so dated, the bed old and uncomfortable, shower dribbled! The sofas had stains on them. The bar closed early due to the lack of customers. There is no character to this place and so sad to see it run down.

We only came for a short business meeting, so we did not see the rooms, and the only service we had, such as it was, was in the refreshment area. The hotel was once a country house, but the estate is now a business park and the house has been extended and modernised in the cheapest modern materials to make...

Had a wonderful 3 night stay. Rooms are huge, clean and has everything you need. Spa was great, had a facial by Laura which was brilliant. The hotel Grounds were lovely, with a lake, fishing, horses and a highland bull!! Had Afternoon Tea which was ok. Staff very attentive and helpful.

The room was huge, the bed was comfy, i heard no noise from other guests. The shower head (over the bath) has seen better days minimal water came out! This could be a fabulous hotel if they modernised the rooms.

I've stayed several times at this hotel, so it's with mixed feelings that I write this. I booked a 3 night deluxe room, and whilst it's clean and large, the attention to detail has gone out of the window and for the price you pay, compared to other places, it's the detail which lets it down. Just to name a...

Extremely horrible experience where my partners pensioner father got ripped off. Had a surprise function for his sister from USA who he hadnt seen in years. Food was cold and a comedy off errors that made faulty towers look like the Ritz. After pushing very hard they refunded half the food money with no gesture for good will or customer...

The room was spacious but very dated and not all that comfortable. Theres no problem in having period furnishings/themes throughout the hotel, but our room smelt incredibly musty and dust seemed to settle everywhere. The bed was uncomfortable and the room would get very hot and opening the windows made no difference. The bathroom was clean and all facilities worked...
