It's not easy planning a driving tour of Ireland for 14, when you know a good location, a great meal and secure parking is required. However from an early contact the Fitzwilton staff were most helpful, including setting aside a secure parking area for our cars under the hotel. We were slightly worried on arrival when we were told our...

The hotel was nice and clean, friendly and helpful staff. Rooms a nice size. The only problem with the room was the bathroom, well the shower was the problem. It was really high up on the wall so you found it difficult to get wet. The food was really good. Well worth the money. The other problem was the area...

We found the staff to be warm and hospitable, the room satisfactory and the restaurant better than we expected! The breakfast was not particularly exciting, only two choices of cereal, and the strangest marmalade. Yoghurt full of poppyseeds - bit weird. Neverthless, we enjoyed our stay, and had a brilliant experience at the Waterford Crystal factory.

One night stay - we were 4 in a 2 bedded room - size just about ok. Arrive early to secure parking, we only just managed to get in. Check in was warm & friendly, just what I expected, however breakfast the next morning, everyone was miserable. Not impressed by breakfast selection given this looks like a new hotel -...

Loved our short break in Waterford. Fitzwilton was the perfect base. Easy to get to as you arrive over the bridge, straight over first right and your there. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Making it an easy and relaxed time through tout the day and night. Restaurant recommendation from Reception, Bodega to eat; Geoff's to drink, was spot on....

4 stars is a cruel joke. Terrible room . No A/C so windows open got to listen to all sorts of drunks signing on the street and motor cycles all night. Our. Friend had a drunken woman yelling and trying to kick down the door. When we called front desk- nobody answered. Resturant was good.

This is my 2nd visit to this hotel this year and the high standards experienced on my first visit have been maintained in the passing 4 months. Spacious comfortable rooms. TV has less "fuzzy" channels than the standard for Ireland but still not what 1st world patrons might be used to. Breakfast is good and like the bar menu features...
