We weren’t blessed with good weather, but it didn’t matter for our overnight stay at beautiful Foxmount. It was our last B & B in Ireland and the best. Margaret was a very gracious host serving us tea on arrival and lighting a fire for us in the evening. The breakfast was top class, with a “Master Chef” touch. Our...

This B&B was fantastic and was one of the best that we encountered on our 6 week tour of Ireland , Scotland and England. Clean , spacious room and the most comfortable bed. Tea , coffee etc. on arrival added that extra welcoming touch. The breakfast was excellent. The hosts were thoroughly congenial and helpful. Just one thing we will...

Absolutely wonderful. This was our first B&B stop during our trip in Ireland and it kind of spoiled us. The breakfast was delicious and cooked to order with many selections. The rooms were large and so were the bathrooms. You will find that it is rare to find a large bathroom in Ireland at a B&B. Margaret was a wonderful...

Margaret and David have a lovely home. They are gracious, kind people. This was our first stop on a three week trip; it set the bar high and no other B&B surpassed it. We stayed here two nights. Peaceful setting, excellent cooked to order breakfast. Tea/coffee upon every arrival. Clean, spacious, quiet rooms. This is a must for anyone traveling...

We were warmly welcomed to Ireland with a pot of tea and warm scones. Just what we needed after traveling all night by plane. This was my husband's favorite place that we stayed in Ireland. It was a great farm ~ it had horses dogs, eggs from the farm and a garden right outside the door. Margaret and her family...

Myself and my fiance were attending a wedding at nearby Faithlegg House Hotel and decided to stay at Foxmount Country House. From the moment we set foot in the place we knew we'd made a wise decision as we were warmly welcomed by David who offered us a cup of tea (we had to decline as we were in a...

Margaret and her family were SO kind and hospitable during our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was amazing - best ever, home-made bread and scones. Eggs from the farm, who could ask for more? Lots of places locally to eat out and Margaret knows some good walks.

If you miss a chance to stay in the lovely fully restored 1740 country home you have missed out on a true once in a lifetime experience. Mrs. Kent is a warm and gracious hostess and you are treated as a favored family memeber. We were greated with hot tea and warm scones that melted in you mouth. This is...

If you have ever wished to see what living the life of an 18th century aristocrat was like, you have only to spend time at Foxmount Country House. And you don't have to be a millionaire to do it! Far from being snooty, our host and hostess were beautiful examples of Irish helpfulness and friendliness. It was night when we...
