Such a charming hotel. Breakfast was fantastic, with whiskey for your oatmeal if you choose. At night, Irish-country music performers were entertaining in the bar. Beautiful hotel and very comfortable room. Staff was extremely helpful. Just a really nice, welcoming place to stay. I would highly recommend.

This is a nice larger classic hotel in Waterford. It had a bit more formal and traditional feel than most other hotels we stayed at. Well maintained with a friendly and helpful staff. The full breakfast was excellent. Also convenient to all of the sights in Waterford including the Waterford Crystal Factory Tour. Be aware that the Granville seems to...

A sense of elegance and antiquity along with modernity and efficiency. Gorgeous place, excellent location for seeing sights of Waterford (a pretty city with an ancient but not well-known past). Rooms modern and spacious; excellent and helpful staff; incredible bar if you like whiskies; great breakfast with porridge and whiskey (unusual treat); good bar food and very reasonable prices. Only...

This was a great historic hotel. Lots of rich history and nicely restored. However, the restoration included little to no insulation and noise carried throughout resulting in a poor nights sleep. Not sure I would stay again.

Arrived at the hotel on a Saturday evening . Parked in car park in front of the hotel. The hotel was busy but the check in was so easy and friendly. Recieved €10 credit to use in the bar or restaurant as I booked direct. Was in room 326 a large room overlooking the river and was so quiet .The bed...

What a lovely grand old hotel reminiscent of yesteryear, our room was good but a little on the small side but had everything you would expect and need. We did find the room a little warm and opened the window but then experienced some road noise. Breakfast was lovely in the beautiful dining room. Overall a really nice stay.

I was a member of a group of 14 for a birthday dinner. My fish was either over cooked or microwaved but that was the least of my concerns. I believe the best of hotels can get an odd meal wrong. What disappointed me most was the awaful service. None of the staff seemed to have a clue what to...

This place offers a good view of the bay with the right room. You have a trade off, a good view with traffic noise or a lousy view with absolute silence. We enjoyed the view here and ease of walking to the Waterford Crystal and the Viking Triangle. The view was a few boats in the harbor and a mild...

This was where one of the important figures in Ireland' s history, Thomas Meagher, the " father" of the Irish flag, was born. This is a historic building and it is furnished in period stile, with a grandfather clock in the lobby. The rooms are large enough and cute, and the staff very attentive. It is in the center of...
