Thank heavens we chose to ignore the poor reviews & book 2 nights at Pearse Lodge. We enjoy staying in clean, comfortable, quiet, well run establishments at a good price. We are on holiday, so do not mind if the wifi pops in & out, that guests are usually couples or families with teenage children and that you enjoy breakfast...

My only regret about this B&B is that I couldn't stay longer. Right from the time of booking Mary and Keiron were helpful and friendly, they could not have been better hosts. This B&B is beautiful, comfortable, and conveniently located close to the main downtown core. We stayed in the "deluxe" room for the evening and it was beyond expectations....

On our recent "sister" trip from Hawaii, we thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay in the friendly and welcoming Pearse Lodge. Breakfast was sumptous and the hosts happily offered visiting information and tips making the rest of our Ireland journey memorable. Many Thanks!

All the other reviewers are right - this is a fabulous B&B. Mary and Keiron take pride in all aspects of their B&B, from the fresh, modern rooms with French press coffee to the wonderful breakfasts that they provide. They also gave us lots of really useful information to help us make the most of our stay. After 4 weeks...

We stayed just one night at Pearse Lodge but would love to stay again for longer. Mary and Keiron were friendly and helpful, the room was the fanciest we experienced during out 2 week trip through out Ireland with amenities (example: an iron and ironing board!) that were not available at any of the other B&Bs or hotels we stayed...

My cousin and I took our wives for a tour of Ireland staying in two larger hotels in the major cities and three bed and breakfasts between. We spent three wonderful nights at Pearse lodge, enjoying the warmth and knowledge of our hosts Kieron and Mary. They offered brilliant suggestions for exploration and included props for our journeys. The rooms...

I bunked down at Pearse Lodge B & B for several nights in June 2013. Mary and Kieron were wonderful, helpful and most friendly, a wealth of information about local places of interest, pubs and the music scene. My Satnav appeared broken, Keiron went out of his way to help me, testing it in his car then telling me where...

We travelled two weeks in beautiful Ireland > best accommodation we enjoyed !! The breakfasts were to dream about and the beds were most comfortable. A short , nice walk to the pubs & restaurants. We had three nights of comfort. Very helpful couple in making your Irish experience amazing. They were a showcase for the Irish people . Fun...

Upon our arrival at Pearce Lodge we were met by Mary who obviously takes great pride in making her guests feel at home. We were settled into our room (the "beech") and given a quick run-down on options for dinner in town as well as where we might find some "traditional" Irish music in the evening. Our room was perfectly...

We had a wonderful experience at our one night stay at Pearse Lodge in Sligo. Kieran greeted us upon our arrival and was so friendly and helpful! Our rooms were spacious and clean and it was very quiet at night. Kieran gave us suggestions for restaurants and sites to see which were within walking distance to town. Mary and Kieran...
