I didn't have long at the Ashleigh House. I was in Monaghan to do some work for the evening and then I was hitting the road early doors the following day. You don't need long though to observe the friendliness and warmth of the place. The place was spotless throughout and riddled with comfort. I would definitely return. But next...

This B&B is centrally located. The rooms are spotless and spacious. Our room had a comfortable double bed and a single bed. Breakfast was very good and the proprietor was very accommodating and welcoming.

Booked this B&B as a result of Trip Advisor reviews. Centrally located in the town but there is no on-site parking. There are though nearby car parks which have charging periods and night time street parking outside. We arrived mid-afternoon and noticed immediately how cold it was in the corridor to the room. There were no radiators etc in the...

Regarding the bed .It is a relatively new mattress so there must be an issue with the base which we will...

Came across this B & B by accident when I was trying to find somewhere to stay for two nights in a part of the country which I had not visited for 20 years. Having rung a B&B which I found on the Internet I was told that they had closed down but they kindly redirected us to Ashleigh House....

We had 4 rooms and 3 of them had a double and single bed, each with its own different style. All were spotlessly clean with ironing board, hairdryer, tea/coffee and toiletries. The breakfast was lovely.

Friendly welcome and fit for purpose. Our room was also clean. Would stay here again if I were to chose to stay in B&B type accommodation, although I felt that the price could be reduced by approx. EUR 20, given the current state of repair of the B&B.

Homely bed and breakfast, well situated on a main thoroughfare in Monaghan town centre. Our room was small and basic, with a shower ensuite, and comfortable for our needs. Breakfast was a tasty full Irish: bacon, sausage, white pudding and fried egg.
