This was the perfect place for us to recover from jet lag and discover the Westport area. Maureen and Peter are the most friendly, gracious and accomodating hosts one could ask for. We took a cab from the train station (6 Euros) and arrived at this beautifully-gardened house in a quiet residential area. Maureen greeted us at the door with...

I definitely recommend staying at Cedar Lodge with its friendly hosts, Maureen and Peter. Maureen serves the best Irish breakfast and a wonderful fruit plate. They were so helpful and knowledgable about what to do in and around Westport. We were having a wonderful time until my son became ill and needed to be hospitalized. Maureen and Peter were a...

We had a very enjoyable stay. The B&B is a short walk into Westport. The room was comfortable and quiet. The garden is well worth exploring, and the breakfast was very good. We would definitely recommend it.

Maureen was very nice and the rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast good. My daughter and I had no trouble with the walk but my husband who has muscular dystrophy found it a little tiring. There is no reason why you couldn't drive a bit closer though. Garden is lovely.

I was in Westport for one night only and stayed at Cedar Lodge. I chose it because it was out of the busy part of town but close by (a few mins walk) for pubs and restaurants. The house is on a quiet tree lined avenue, surrounded by its own lovely garden. With off-road parking too. Maureen gave me a...

We have just returned from a week's holiday in Westport staying at Cedar Lodge. Our first impression was that it was a beautiful house with an even more impressive garden. We were given a very friendly welcome and were made to feel very much at home during our whole stay. The food and facilities couldn't have been better and greatly...

I can only echo the sentiments of other reviewers that this is a very homely and comfy B&B with charming friendly owners. My only slight whinge, and it's purely personal, were the small glasses of orange juice already laid out on the breakfast table - I do like to have my juice supply "on tap" instead of such meagre portions....
