Best view, restaurant and location in Ireland for a relaxing stay. The food is terrific and everything tip top. Fish of the day at breakfast was great favourite but now only kippers! Pity but was so enjoyable. The staff learned it was my wife's 70th and made a special effort when she arrived. Pool and health club facility is just...

Stayed for two days midwek deal, included dinner first night. Very comfortable, standard room, lovely view of Croagh Patrick and Westport from our window. Dinner good in restaurant, not exceptional and would have been expesive if it wasn't included in the deal. House Sauvignon Blanc and Cote du Rhône very acceptable and good value. Ate in Brehon Bar on the...

Just back from 2 night stay in Knockranny. Very friendly welcome from a senior gentleman who brought in our bags. Public areas look like they could do with a touch up with doors etc needing painting. Room was a deluxe with partial sea view. Spotlessly clean, simply furnished with good size clean bathroom and robes provided. Sheets were really crisp...

The highlight of our visit was meeting the receptionist, Aoife. She could not have been more genuinely welcoming, friendly and very helpful with local sights information etc. Time was when practically all hotels had a 2PM check in time. The Knockranny has a 4 PM check in time. So much for platitudes about customer care etc etc. This is self...

Really enjoyed our most recent visit to Knockranny. Have lost count of the number of times we have been there. Love the view of the town and Croagh Patrick mountain and the beautiful Clew Bay when the weather permits. The rooms are very comfortable and cleaned to a high standard. The staff are all wonderful and all requests are welcomed...

I have recently been lucky enough to have two massages here by the same brilliant therapist. Spa Salveo is relaxing once you walk in the doors. The staff are lovely and welcoming and very accomodating. The massage with Dorota is easily the best I have ever had. There is no way to adequately describe her technique only to say she...
