Stayed one night only in the Breaffy woods, had booked a spa treatment in advance and had to ring them while standing outside in the car park area to get directions as the treatment rooms are in the main hotel but there is no obvious signage. while the treatment was very good the facilities were very poor, had to get...

Accommodation is very basic (almost hostel-like) - the rooms have lots of beds, but the bathroom is tiny, although the room was very clean. Good services for children, but a bit "Butlins-like". Nice pool facility that needs some repair, although builders were actively working on the property during our stay. I heard another guest remarking on her fantastic stay, but...

This was my 3rd trip here, the last time being 6 years ago, and it certainly didn't disappoint, it was as beautiful, luxurious, affordable and friendly as I had remembered. Everyone was so friendly and helpful in every department, from arrival, breakfast, dinner, housekeeping, the pool, the bar, to checkout, in true Mayo hospitality. The food was fabulous, and there...

Another decent stay at this hotel. No problem getting parked followed by a quick & friendly check in. My non smoking room was a nice size, clean but a little bit tired looking but for just my one night, not a problem. With carpet floor, a great double bed, tv with numerous channels, full length mirror, smoke alarm, tea/coffee, wardrobe,...

We have mixed reviews, I have stayed in many hotels all over Ireland through work commitments, and have stayed at many a better 3 star hotel than this. We had 2 meals in the main restaurant, the first was from the daily specials menu...

We really enjoyed Breaffy. We received a warm and friendly welcome, and the staff overall were friendly. The hotel is in a lovely setting and is ideal for kids. Great pool facilities, a good selection of kids club activities (we didn't use them all that much due to age of ours) but we did avail of the mini golf as...

We returned home yesterday having spent the Easter weekend at the Breaffy House Hotel. This was our third visit and it did not disappoint. The House, grounds and facilities have something for everyone and entertaining the kids is their speciality. The whole complex is so well laid out that it never feels overcrowded. I have to agree with other reviewers...

We had a lovely break here, it's our third time to stay. Kids are always well entertained. Rooms in The House have been do everything up. Double bunk bed went down a treat apart from the decision who was to sleep on top!
