This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this wonderful B&B and is the only place we would stay in Castlebar. Bernie is so welcoming and attentive, the breakfasts are excellent also the rooms are spotlessly clean. John, Cath and Anthony

We were so lucky to find Drumshinnagh. Our room was nice and clean the breakfast couldn't have been better. And we had the most amazing host ever. Bernie was kind and helpful , gave us many useful information on what worth to see. She even made me a hot drink to cure my flu. We definitely going back next year.

We spent there only one night, eventhough we find Bernie very welcoming, kind and warm person. When we first came there she offered us some hot chocolate and cookies and also showed us a room. The room was really nice, cosy and clean. We also had a bathroom just for yourself! When we settled down she recommended us where is... More

Bernie was absolutely wonderful, made us feel as if we were visiting a friend. We were welcomed with scones and tea and conversation. Our room was delightful, with views of the countryside in two directions. Bernie's recommendation of what to see, all of Achill Island versus anything else turned out to be my husband's favorite part of our Irish tour.... More

I was welcomed by Bernie with tea, scones and jam. She is a lovely lady, and really makes you feel at home. I had the continental breakfast, which was more than enough, with fruit juice,tea/coffee, fresh fruit - great with Bernie's home made granola sprinkled on it - cereals, yoghurts, scones, home-madecake, bread, jam. Bernie even made me porridge a... More
