We had a party of ten celebrating a milestone birthday and we we offered the private room, with its own fire, which was very welcome on a cold February night. They were excellent in organizing the personalized menus, and nothing was a problem. Service and food was fantastic, and would really recommend it. I have been here on numerous times,...

We were given the Presidential Suite which is actually a very lovely family room. The rooms were spotless, and quiet and comfortable. The hotel is a lovely old building, and decorated beautifully. The bar was very busy, but still comfortable, on a Saturday night. Breakfast was absolutely delicious.

My elderly mother and I visited Drogheda for two nights in January. For my mother it was a long awaited return to the town of her childhood. Even before we arrived the staff made us feel welcome by helping to guide us through Drogheda's confusing one way road system! Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable with a great shower....

Firstly, i will review the restaurant in Scholars Townhouse, separately, as it was so fantastic, it deserves its own review This hotel is about a 2-3 minute drive from the centre of Drogheda town, close to Scotch Hall Shopping Centre and the main streets in Drogheda. It's a very good location, being that close to the city, but away from...

Thank you for your feedback on your recent experience. Apologies you were not satisfied on the day. Our menus have changed since you were in 5 weeks ago as the Black forest came off our menu at the end of December. The review that you have posted is not a true reflection on our current offering as our menus change...

We stayed in the Scholar's Inn for two nights during the week before Christmas. We had previously stayed here in September 2014. On both occasions we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room was very comfortable and the bed conducive to a good night's sleep. Small bathroom but shower was good. Great breakfast (included in the tariff) cooked to order and...

We are regular visitors to the bar here for food and decided to treat ourselves for Christmas with a meal and overnight stay. The hotel is a small boutique one in the centre of Drogheda so the rooms are not big but they are very comfortable and the whole premises was nicely restored and has lovely atmosphere. On site parking...

Four Adults and two children booked for a table for New Years Eve. The table was laid out with Party Hats and was presented beautifully. We sat down to our starters. The Menu had an excellent choice and cost €36.95 per person. The Kiddies menu had good choices too. However there was a different menu for those who arrived at...
