Really impressive as you drive through the gate , as is reception , after that afraid it's a bit downhill.I understand they are renovating the hotel as it is badly needed , parts of the hotel are like something from the seventies .Room was clean but really dated , that is after we managed to find it. Reception told us...

Stayed for two nights with a friend for a birthday break and loved it! We went to relax and it was perfect for this. They did have renovations going on as they are upgrading the rooms but it didn't affect our stay. We had a new room which was really lovely and spacious and the bed was so comfortable! We...

Being an historic almost iconic hotel in the area of Drogheda we were really looking forward to staying at this hotel. When we phoned we asked whether we could use the swimming pool and spa facilities. When I booked the room I informed the woman that I would be needing an early occupation of the room. On arrival I was...

We knew about the renovations but had a tough time finding a place to stay in Drogheda due to a large number of weddings in the area. The location is OK, about 3-4 km above town; short drive but I wouldn't walk that far & we like walking. Staff was polite but didn't follow through. We arrived just past noon...

After having some very pleasant meals in the Terrace Bar at this hotel it was very disappointing to see how Value Standards and Service seems to have slipped. &14.95 for Fish and chips is way over the top. No specials board on display at 1pm and had to ask about same to be told it would be up in a...

Stayed here a few weeks ago for a local wedding, with high expectations having viewed their website. I was shocked to find that half of the hotel is being renovated, with builders debris in the hallways, cables, tools and all sorts of items accessible to residents. Unfortunately my room hadn't been renovated, suffering from scuff marks on the door frame,...

This is a beautiful hotel in a lovely setting. There's a little walking trail around the property and a nice green lawn. The room was comfortable and we were kept well stocked with instant coffee, tea bags, etc. The room and bathroom were very clean. The mattresses were a bit uncomfortable and need to be replaced. They are currently doing...
