Arrived 5.00pm. Really warm welcome! Comfortable room. Good recommendation for nearby eaterie to enjoy an evening meal. Did we want a cooked breakfast? We said yes. A time was agreed. It came with no choice offered, with white bread toast provided.

We were the only guests at Killowen House recently. The house is very grand at first glance but a little dated in furnishings etc. Our room was quite large as was our ensuite. However the water pressure was terrible and there was mould on the ceiling due to lack of ventilation. Rather off putting!! We had a mid morning flight...

It was six of us travelling so we were given a room for two and a family room with a double bed, a twin bed and a roll out that was in the way. The room was very crowded. The moment we walked in I was asked for the vouchers, no where else they did this, and was told that...

We stayed here the night before our flight out of Dublin as it was very convenient to the airport (about 20 minutes drive). The room was nice and the house was immaculate. Our host even left out yogurt, juice, milk, and cereal for us early in the morning before our flight. We did have an issue with our shower drain...

Owner pleasant. Room dated. Window blind broken and with room having light cream curtains too much light in room in late evening and early morning . Furniture dated. Bed comfortable. In ensuite paint peeling off ceiling. Sealant round base of shower needs replaced as it looks revolting. Pressure of water in shower dismal. TV does not always work properly. Breakfast...

What a beautiful spot! The hostess was so warm and welcoming. The house is lovely and the room was lovely and comfy. I seem to recall there was a washcloth at this one, I don't understand the lack of them. Great amenities ! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

This was a wonderful stay. Had a hotel feeling when you walk into a HUGE entrance. The hosts were amazing and friendly. The rooms were very big and the beds were outstanding! Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We had an amazing experience. Thank you

My boyfriend and I stated 5 nights. Amazing time. So clean and close to Dublin. Angela was helpful with different restaurants and site seeing. She even called us a cab to go into the city. Breakfast was delightful and at a reasonable time. Will stay again

This B and B is well situated to explore the Boyne valley and Dublin, lots of interest in the area. It is run by an older couple and could use a bit of attention. The fan in our bathroom had noisy bearings and started automatically when the light was on. It disturbed the family in the next room because my...

The Killowen House was an absolutely wonderful stay. We were warmly greeted by the owners, who are the sweetest and friendliest Irish couple we've ever met. We felt at home. I will stay here again. Just a short drive from Dublin, and a great stop on the drive north.

“Killowen House is located on a very quiet street so all rooms should be very quiet and coszy. The rooms in this B&B are all very clean and the beds very comfortable (We both slept like logs).. We're sure you should have NO problems with any room you choose.”
