Meant to stay one night, will probably stay three, as our language didn't come with us. Hotel is in a great location, looks nice, room well maintained and staff extremely friendly and helpful. Couldn't ask for more (maybe fresh vegetables in breakfast...).

I stayed here for one night while travelling in Ireland. Room and hotel were clean and well maintained. Staff were courteous, helpful and friendly. My only suggestion for improvement would be to have the gate for the car park better sign posted as arriving late after a long day on the road, it wasn't clear to me that this was... More

We enjoyed a fabulous overnight stay in the Pembroke hotel in October. The location is ideal for seeing the city of Kilkenny, with everything in walking distance. Our room was so comfortable and just what anyone would want on a break away. The added touch of the swans made from towels on the bed made it even more memorable! Staff... More

The Pembroke Hotel is a excellent hotel in Kilkenny City Centre. The hotel is 2 blocks from Kilkenny Castle. Easy walking distance to restaurants, shopping, sightseeing, and pubs. The hotel is well maintained and gives the appearance of being a luxury hotel without the $$$. The breakfast buffet was exceptional. The room was large, comfortable, and well appointed. The off-street... More

We stayed here for one night during a 5 day trip to Southern Ireland. The location was ideal for visiting Kilkenny with just a short walk to restaurants and places of interest. The room was very clean and comfortable and we had great views of the castle from our room. The staff were very helpful and friendly and we were... More

This was our second stay at the Pembroke and it didn't disappoint. Wonderful location for wandering into town and back again after a good meal or a beer or two! The rooms are comfortable and the staff welcoming and friendly. The bar food was good and reasonably priced. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and looking forward to returning.

This was our first night in Ireland and we loved staying at the Kilkenny Pembroke. Clean, comfortable room with a king size bed and a view of the castle. Great bathroom with a good shower and separate large tub. Short walk to the castle, bridge over the River and the best pubs in town. The breakfast room was nice with... More

Every time I travel to Ireland I try and visit Kilkenny. And everytime I visit Kilkenny I like to stay at The Pembroke. The staff are great, professional, quick and nothing is too much hassel. Well situated in middle of Kilkenny. Very spacious and comfortable room. Staff helpful and accommodating and good breakfast. Would strongly recommend this hotel. If carpark is full there is overflow parking available just up the road.
