I recently satyed here on a stag weeeknd and could find little to fault. The hotel is very nicely decorated with a lovely bar and the rooms were spacious and well furnished and decorated. Great hotel for anyone visiting Kilkenny. Ideally situated about 300 metres from the castle. The best thing about this hotel though is the staff. They're excellent...

Hotel is very central. Gated carpark. Staff were friendly and efficient. Room was a good size and comfortable. Bottled water and coffee/tea provided. Iron and board supplied. We had dinner on the first night as part of our package. Food was excellent and nicely presented. We also had a free cocktail. I had the strawberry and cream cocktail yum. Kilkenny...

Lovely hotel, clean spacious room, great shower, friendly check in staff. Restaurant food very disappointing - same menu as the Bar. It is good bar food but for the restaurant it does not reflect the star rating of the hotel. Restaurant was very cold and we asked for the heating to be turned up which the waiter said he would...

My wife and I stayed here midweek in November and I have to say it was one of the best hotels we have been in. The room was huge and spotless with a lovely bathroom with top class fittings. We had dinner in the bar which was as good as it gets in kilkenny. Granted the car park is small...

The staff were extremely nice and the restaurant was good. It is an easy walk to all of the attractions and the hotel is in a rather quiet area. I was with a tour, so I'm not certain about price. The others in our groups seemed satisfied, too.

We stayed a Friday and Saturday night while traveling through Ireland. The first night it was just me and my husband. The second night we were in a bigger room with a king bed and a twin bed for our adult son. Totally comfortable and spacious accommodations. The breakfast was delicious both mornings!! Staff was helpful and because we extended...

Dear Christa S, Thank you for your glowing review, I am thrilled you had such a great Pembroke experience. Our Castle View rooms are a real treat, it is great to open up your curtains in the morning and look out towards Kilkenny Castle and the Kilkenny Design Centre, especially on a clear crisp Autumn day. Thank you for the...

A gem of a hotel right in the heart of the city. I stayed here midweek in November, as you can imagine it was quite cold outside but this was offset by the extremely warm welcome of the friendly receptionist. Its location is perfect for a shopping trip and is in close proximity to a great range of fantastic shops....

Kilkenny is one of those mythically medieval Irish towns that lives up to its reputation, and this was a lovely find, just the perfect hotel for our first night in Ireland. My partner and I got a little ambitious after we landed and decided to drive to Kilkenny from Dublin by way of Glendalough. We weren't acknowledging our jet lag...

Dear Ed_Uyeshima, Thank you for your great review. Glendalough on a normal day is not a great drive especially if you come through the Wicklow Mountains, you were very brave to do it after landing!! But what a beautifully picturesque site. It was my nanny's most favourite place in Ireland. I am delighted you had such a great stay with...
