Good sized nicely decorated room & bathroom. Friendly and helpful hosts who assist with dinner reservations and suggestions about local sites. Breakfast is outstanding with homemade jams, scones, and breads as well as specialty omelets, cereals, fruits, yogurt, etc. in a lovely breakfast room. Just a fifteen or twenty minute walk to the city center which is great because driving...

My wife, sister, mother-in-law, and I had the great pleasure of staying at the Rosquil House B&B for 3 nights in late April while on a two week trip through Ireland. First, booking our rooms online was efficient and simple, information and directions were excellent, and the location was very convenient to all the things we wished to see and...

We traveled to Ireland last month with four adult members of our family, and everyone loved the Rosquil House. Phil was very welcoming and informative about exploring Kilkenny in the short time we were there. The room and bath were spotless and particularly roomy by European standards. Our room faced the garden so it was very quiet, and no one...

We just returned from three weeks touring Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. We stayed at three hotels and 8 bed & breakfast homes. All the B & Bs were excellent or near excellent, but Rosquil House ranked above them all. It was specially built as a B & B and might be considered a boutique hotel in the...

My wife and I returned yesterday from a brilliant driving holiday around southern Ireland. Phil welcomed us to his home and smartly advised on the local attractions - even offering to assist with our restaurant booking. A good choice of rooms all to a very good standard make this B&B a top pick. Rhoda welcomed us to breakfast. It's not...

We traveled throughout all of Ireland and loved most of the places we stayed BUT the Rosquil House was our favorite. Rhoda and everyone there treated us very well. Their breakfasts were delicious, they had great knowledge of Kilkenny and they were a perfect location. We could walk to all the sites we wanted to see and the rooms were...

From our very friendly welcome to the delicious breakfast, everything about Rosquil House was a delight. The rooms are spacious and comfy and very well planned. Anything you need is right where you would expect to find it. Bathrooms don't have the usual complicated plumbing and were a wonderful change. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices. Phil & Rhoda...

Extremely friendly and helpful with local knowledge and advice. Very clean and modern rooms with comfy beds and in the case of the self catering good facilities and living area. Would definitely recommend to anyone and will be going back when we are next in the area.

The staff and the rooms are excellent at this hotel/inn/b&b. The location is less than ideal. It really is too far to walk into the town center. Rosquil House is not exactly charming but it does the job. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. The owners are delightful. The do offer wi-fi but it was only...
