Butler Court was as promised. We had large rooms on the ground floor with a large bath. It was nice having a frig and the breakfast/snack tray was very nice. Even though it was chilly we sat out in the courtyard for tea and took pictures with Bob the dog. Recommendations for food and music were good and we enjoyed...

We LOVED our stay in Butler Court. The owners were more than nice and the room was fantastic. Bob, the owner's dog, was very well behaved and appreciative of a pat from travelers. There is no parking at the site, but a convenient parking garage right down the road. We got all the information we asked for from the owners...

The Butler Court B & B was a wonderful stopover for four of us recently. We stayed with John & Yvonne for two nights and loved every minute of it. They are both friendly, helpful, and very considerate. The rooms are spacious and very clean. They are contemporary and well-appointed. The Butler Court location is just about perfect for staying...

Butler Court is a great place to stay. The host's are friendly and helpful. Clean and classy, with a fridge in our room ,which was helpful. The rooms were great with a kingsize bed... KIlkenny has alot of friendly pubs to sit and have a pint or a bite to eat. Shopping and sightseeing are all around the town and...

We were so pleasantly surprised in this little hotel. The rooms were understated, with a clean, fresh feel. The breakfast was not a hot cooked meal (which I would not eat at home), but set up in your room the night before with fresh fruit, yogurts, packaged cereals and breads/scones, coffee pots with real cream in the fridge. (No plastic...

After staying at various hotels and B&Bs in Ireland, we found this place to be somewhat disappointing. We had been made aware, via email, of the need to park in a close by parking garage and that no hot breakfast would be provided. However, we did not realize that the location is in a very congested area, and we ended...

This is the perfect location in such an elegant city, which we hope to explore further quite soon: well designed rooms, spotless baths, extremely comfortable beds, and the in-room breakfast rather a relief after reporting on parade for the 'full Irish' elsewhere. Yvonne (and Bob the dog) were most welcoming and helpful; luggage drop and parking were easily arranged. Would...

Stayed at Butler Court when attending the Cat Laughs Comedy festival on a friend's recommendation who has been visiting here for years. Yvonne was lovely - very welcoming and made us feel instantly at ease. The rooms were light, fairly spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was available in the rooms and there was a nice courtyard to relax in. If...

We really liked Butler Court. We only stayed one day, but Yvonne and John took good care of us. The car parking turned out to be fine, even though it sounds complicated. Yvonne's recommendations were great, and the location is wonderful--as others have said, central but quiet. The continental breakfast was actually a nice break from the full Irish. Our...

My Husband, his Dad, Uncle and Sister stayed at Butler Court and 2nd time was a charm. My husband and I stayed with Yvonne and John 3 years ago and enjoyed it so much we made it a point to come back to Kilkenny to stay at Butler Court again. We love the well lit, spacious rooms with the yummy...
