Good location, nice room, and nice little continental breakfast in the room, cereal, fruit, teas and coffee. Yvonne was very inviting and helpful with recommendations in the area. I wish we could've stayed longer than one night.

We stayed at Butler Court for one night on our way from Dublin to Kinsale. We couldn't be happier with our choice! As others have said, the owners are warm and welcoming; they helped make sure we didn't miss any of the town's highlights, and helped us choose the best route to Kinsale (which also kept us from missing the...

This was the first B&B I've ever stayed in and the first of several during my trip to Ireland in March. I can say it was the best one. As a first-time solo traveler, Yvonne took me under her wing and set me up for my visit in Kilkenny. The room was well-appointed and had all the modern amenities, including...

We loved our stay last week at Butler Court. Yvonne was helpful and welcoming and immediately responded to any concerns (one of the outlets in our room had stopped working due to recent construction, and she and her husband couldn't have been more helpful and apologetic about it--I have no doubt it got fixed the moment we checked out!). The...

We stayed at Butler Court in September. As advertised, Bob the dog was there to greet us when we arrived. The Innkeeper was very helpful and readily provided recommendations for restaurants and sights. Our room was nicely updated and best of all very quiet. I loved the fact that this B&B was right in the heart of town yet very...

I was visiting cousins in the Kilkenny area when I booked my two night stay at the Butler Court. I was very pleased with the room, bathroom and whole setting of this well maintained establishment. The owners were very pleasant and I had a very satisfied stay at this secure, quiet and very clean residence. I stayed there on 14...

Very nice establishment! The price was good, the owners were very friendly and helpful, location was great (everything was within walking distance), and clean, spacious rooms. The owners provided us with continental breakfast in our mini fridge, which had quite a variety of options. It was nice to be able to make coffee in the morning that wasn't the instant...

Wonderful place to stay. Yvonne & John Dalton were very helpful and welcoming! Bob the dog was a pleasure. Sitting in the lovely courtyard was so relaxing. Easy walk from here to any of the attractions to see in town. It was great to have the parkade to put our car in during our stay. Although the breakfast was continental...

We arrived without any booking; the owner showed us around and gave us our room. Rooms are spacious and comfy, and bathrooms are clean. Free wifi was also available. The owner even paid for parking! The B&B does not provide a cooked breakfast, however the continental breakfast is fresh and filling and more than enough. The location is excellent; 2...

I booked a room on short notice - communication from the owner was prompt and extremely friendly. I really like the fact that the breakfast is waiting in the room - it means you can have it anytime you want before checkout instead of having to wash up really early to make the breakfast cut off time and have to...
