Disappointed by standard of room given for the money paid. The staff were extremely nice and kind but obviously the owner does not take kindly to complaints and was offhand and rude. Easy money made due to whole city being booked up. Hope she was happy and enjoyed the money she made for such an excuse for a room

Lovely weekend in beautiful Kilkenny spoiled by a misunderstanding over the cost due to "Rod Stewart being in town" My cousin and I had booked in here for 3 nights over the weekend thinking it was £290 in total for what we had been offered ie a supposed family room - however when we went to pay on the Saturday...

Overall it was a nice place to stay for our one night. VERY friendly staff and very accommodating. Parking was very tight and limited, but staff was accommodating to us to park in their lot. The bedroom was on the smaller side with windows opening to the street. There was a bus stop across the street if staying longer needing...

Stayed here with 5 friends we were all accommodated in one room which was very comfortable and fit for purpose. We were met by very pleasant receptionist who checked us in without fuss and gave us good advice on where to get entertainment/food in the city. We all received an excellent breakfast with plenty of extra tea, coffee and toast...

This was our first B&B of the trip. Probably the best part of the experience was the welcome by Caroline, which was especially appreciated after escaping Dublin. There is parking on the street, but you have to pay if you use it during the day. The B&B has a tiny parking lot for free out front and Caroline was very...

Warm welcome, helped with lost luggage. Small room number 14 with 2 twin beds and 1/2 bath. Clean and great for a night. Street parking just a skip and a hop from the castle. Full Irish breakfast with lots more. Quiet night. Good beds and pillows. Book early fills up quickly. 2 buildings combined. Very nice bandb highly recommended. MeuterMedia

We had a wonderful 3 day stay in this small hotel which is on a side road in the heart of Kilkenny. We were never more than a five minute walk to the castle, Smithwicks, Canice's, Cathedral, the pubs, and shops. We were offered a full breakfast everyday, the rooms are clean, and serviced with coffee, tea, hairdryer, etc., and...

The positive: - the staff is super friendly and helpful - very clean - good breakfast - convenient location The negative: - Tiny, dorm size room. So small that there is barely a place for luggage or for two people to get dressed at the same time. The cot sized twin beds had mattresses that slanted. We did ask for...

The B&B is well located, an easy walking distance to Kilkenny's main attractions. There is parking available on the street. I was warmly welcomed by Caroline. The rooms are of adequate size, simply furnished, clean and were obviously freshly painted when I was there. I was in a room overlooking the street; it was quiet overnight. The breakfast was good,...
