After being up for over 24 hours it was nice to have smiling , understanding folks to check us in early and give us directions. Clean & tidy rooms and an excellent breakfast. Limited parking and yes, some noise from the bus stop and children outside but no more than other busy towns. We would return here and recommend this... More

We stayed here for two nights in late October, after mis-booking for September, which our host kindly rebooked for us! Caroline was a perfect host, meeting us as we arrived and helping us with luggage, suggestions for dinner, and information about some of the places we had planned to visit while in Kilkenny. Our room was perfect -- comfortable and... More

Our party had two rooms at O'Malley's, and both were comfortable rooms. It was very warm when we were in Kilkenny, and our windows were open, so we got some early morning traffic noise, but I think that was only because of the open window. Breakfasts were delicious. I especially enjoyed the white pudding, and my husband loved the pancakes.... More

this B&B is at about 5 min walking from city center, front of ther is a school , is noisy only 20 min in the morning when children get to scool. Rooms are very essential but clean and good size, some of them have private bathroom with swower, hairdryer. Good place for family of 4. close by there is also... More

Really good location and free parking. Omelette was very tasty. And service throughout our stay was first class. The reason for three star was value for money. At €80 I feel the bedroom should have been much nicer, it was quite shabby. The night after in Naas we paid just €20 more and had an amazing suite with two very... More

The staff was very lovely, and the breakfast was very nice as well. We had the Irish breakfast and it was very good. However our room was very small, and we paid the same amount for the room as other guests who had much larger rooms.

Lovely friendly staff - Simone welcomed us - and clean rooms what more do you need. As you would expect there is WiFi and the breakfast is generous. There is even a little bit of free parking right outside. Very close to the castle and the High Street. Whilst I was tired my bed did feel particularly comfortable and I... More

This place is a short walk to Kilkenny Castle. The building is older but the rooms are very clean. There are tiny TV's but the breakfast is good. You're not going to stay here for creature comforts but if you want a safe, solid sleep, this works. Just be quiet if in the hallways late.

We recently stayed overnight at this well situated B&B. Caroline was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and overall comfortable but traffic noise impedied restful sleep. Some plumbing issues need addressing. Owner needs to make minimal investment to bring this B&B to life, including replacing old style TVs with flat screens. Nice varied breakfast with eager staff willing... More

Dear guest, thank you very much for your review. I'm pleased that you found us to be friendly and helpful. I guess when you are right in the middle of a large, busy town it's going to be a little noisier than if you are located further away from the centre. We had all of the windows attended to recently... More
