Stayed here recently with my partner for one night on a really good deal which included breakfast and a main course each. On checking in, I discovered that there was a supplement charged along with the voucher for a Friday night but it was totally my own fault for not reading the small print on the voucher, but even with...

Smell of smoke in the room when we arrived and the door left open to leave the smell out. Two single beds pushed together to make a Double bed. Bed sheets not big enough to cover bed. Dirty bathroom. Woken up in the middle of night by noisy guests. The gardai were in reception when we were checking out presumably talking...

Very central location. Car park available around the back. front of the hotel looked tacky with lots of flags and bunting and beer bellied drinkers outside. shabby, old, run down hotel but looks like they are doing their best to keep it neat and clean with no budget. You get what you pay for so we didnt expect too much....

Old world charm in this city centre hotel. Breakfast is wonderful and all other meals are good. The staff are all so helpful and friendly. Location is great, very central in this lovely medieval city. We will be back!

We were here for one night, brief stay. I'm giving it two stars because the location was good, breakfast decent and it was cheap. Otherwise, it should only get one star. Very old, outdated, our room was not clean and smelled terrible. Bathroom was awful even for Irish standards. The parking lot was a disaster to find and you have...

This is a lovely vintage style hotel in the heart of the medieval city of Kilkenny. The building itself is furnished in quaint art deco style and it has the weight of a really interesting history behind it. The room was lovely and comfortable. The food also is to be highly recommended. Staff are friendly and efficient, in fact, it...

Stayed here for two nights and absolutely loved it. We didn't know what to expect given how old the hotel was but we found it comfortable and quirky. The staff were friendly and accommodating, breakfast was tasty and fresh! Will definitely be staying again if ever in Kilkenny

We had a lovely welcome from the reception staff on arrival, thanking us for booking with them and wishing us a nice stay in the hotel. We then began the long trek to our room, its an old building with very narrow corridors which seemed to lead to staircase after staircase until we found the room we were looking for....
