We had two delicious toasted sandwiches - before attending a show in " Siamsa"- and they were excellent. We were served by friendly and efficient staff. We returned after the "show" and had a few drinks ( nightcaps) and although the bar was packed, we had the repeated friendliness and efficiency of all the personnel. A really nice experience.

Stayed here on a Thursday eve, arrived an hour earlier than check in time but the staff were friendly and allowed me to check in earlier. I was given room 305, obviously refurbished recently.great decor, and was clean. Staff very friendly and helpful throughout. Meals and breakfast good too. Only down fall is the parking! On a busy Good Friday lunchtime, all 9 of us were warmly welcomed and quickly accommodated in the main bar area...and lunch was duly ordered. Fantastically 'meaty' and flavoursome seafood chowder with wheaten bread to die for ; a very tasty sausage roll...and cakes that couldn't be resisted ! Try the lemon tart and feel the 'tang' ! excellent Irish...

The hotel was fine for one nights stay. the room seemed as though it has recently had some redecorating done and it was quite modern I liked the colour scheme. The dinner was good -we had steak&burger, average size portion but just enough for us. Great atmosphere in the bar. good sized Menu. Breakfast was lovely- the full fry up...

We drove into the cute little town of Tralee and decided to spend the night. We stopped by the Tourist Information center for advice. The very helpful gal suggested The Grand Hotel. What a gem! After walking around the town, which has a lovely park, we went back to The Grand for drinks at their pub. Had a fabulous time...

This is a very good traditional hotel of a type that is sadly not often found these days - solid, dependable, splendidly old-fashioned - the grand furniture in the oak-panelled lobby, for example, and the sign over the door to the restaurant which says Dining Room. However, the bedrooms appear to have been recently refurbished to a high standard judging...

Met up with some friends recently decided to have some lunch in the grand. We managed to get a seat in the restaurant area. After looking through the menu we had decided on what we wanted. Had noticed there was quiet a few staff members on no one looked under pressure but still a manager had to request for the...

Our trip to Tralee for the St Patrick's Day Parade was made even better by our experience of The Grand. Friendly, professional staff, a bar and restaurant of the highest order and rooms cosy and warm, I recommend it highly, I hope your stay will be as enjoyable as ours. John O'Connor Secretary, IPSPB

Stayed here for one night before running the Tralee Marathon. Great location in the centre of town. Staff were very friendly and extremely accommodating letting me check out late so I could shower and change after the race. The Rooms are pretty basic but have everything you need and are good value for the price. Definitely worth it for the...

Booked in for 5 nights as part of a large group over the St Patrick's festival week. Friendly and efficient welcome on arrival, facilitated with a change of room. Had several meals there which were all good, very tasty, reasonably priced and hot. Had breakfast in bed one morning, worth the 6 euro extra per person, it arrived on time, hot and...
