Of all the b and b we had in our five days in Ireland maureen's Shraheen house in Killarney gets our thumbs up. The entire house and surrounding grounds are maintained to an immaculate standard both in cleanliness as well as good taste, nothing cheap or tacky god forbid. A feminine and artistic touch is evident throughput the entire house....

We spent 4 nights at Shraheen House. Maureen was a wonderful hostess and provided us with lots of advice on local attractions. Breakfasts were excellent, scrambled eggs and salmon, a great combination. Our room was clean and comfortable, looking out onto the lovely garden. The rooms are ideally located to allow access without disturbance. A perfect base for exploring Killarney...

Located in a quiet neighborhood just minutes from the center of town, Shraheen House was a welcome place at the end of a long day. The rooms were even nicer than I had expected, as was the entire place. Breakfast was wonderful, even more so because our wonderful hostess is quite a baker in addition to everything else.

We stayed in Killarney for two nights and luckily chose Shraheen House! Lucky us! The home is located in a quiet, charming neighborhood, with easy access to the city center and local attractions. There's ample free parking here, too. We did not expect to be bowled over by breakfast - we were already used to some pretty tasty fare. And...

We got a recommendation and haven't been disappointed. The owner was very friendly and showed us a room immediately and gave some tips where to ate dinner. Our room was nice and clean. Also very quiet, as the house is not located on a main road. Breakfast was great too, lot of things to choose from. Free WiFi for guests.

Our stay with Maureen & John Fleming couldn't have been better. The room was spotless, the breakfasts were wonderful and Pip & Mary were wonderful breakfast companions. Our next stay was in Dingle and we were talking to Maureen about it and through our conversation, we discovered that we were not going to be right in Dingle, as we thought....

I felt like we were in our own private five star hotel. The large bedroom was beautiful, very spacious, and we had the best night's sleep. Maureen could not do enough for us. Found out that one of her regular guests is the actress Maureen O'Hara, so it must be good. Breakfast in the light and airy dining room was...

The quality of the accommodation together with Mrs Fleming's home baking at breakfast makes this one of our best B&B experiences in our many visits to Ireland.
