We absolutely loved our stay at Carriglea House. The setting is out of a fairytale. We are planning a trip back in the next couple of months. We wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else in Kerry/Killarney. Thank you for the memorable time! Can't wait to return again soon!

Just returned from a fantastic week's stay in "Courtyard Cottage" at Carriglea House. Such a fabulous location, so close to Killarney National Park and superb view of Lough Leane. Our host, Eileen, gave us a very warm welcome, checked the week's weather for us and arranged a trip to "The Gap of Dunloe" (a must do!) as well as suggesting...

I cannot highly recommend this bed and breakfast enough, but I'll try my best. We stayed here for four nights after staying in Dublin for two nights. When we first got to the B&B we were s pleased that it was outside of the city of Killarney with all the huge and off-putting resorts and giant hotels and spas. It...

WOW! So close to everything. The view of the pond next door and the rabbits. Lough Leane can be seen from upstairs. We only stayed 2 days - I could have stayed a week. The owner is amazing, friendly, helpful, gives great recommendations for food choices and activities. It's a beautiful home, the beds were firm and the bathroom was...

We pulled into Killarney on a very busy weekend - Bike Fest - and were nervous our B&B would be amid the craziness. We were so pleased when we passed through and came to this extremely picturesque location right on the edge of Killarney National Park. Our room (so clean and comforting) had a phenomenal view of the mountains and...

First of all the owner, Eileen, is priceless. She's the perfect hostess and a treasure to talk with. Her family's B&B is absolutely charming and beautifully decorated. Our room had all the accessories we needed, the bed was very comfortable, and the morning breakfast was plentiful. The B&B is in an ideal location, enabling us to walk to Muckross House...

A stunning b&b full of history and nature. The owners were lovely and very friendly. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was great. Great fry. I suppose the only thing I'd say against it is it's distance to the town centre. Maybe a 25 minute walk. But suppose that's a matter of opinion. All in all, I would definitely recommend it...

We stayed 2 nights. The room was fine. The bad good. Tea/ coffee tray in room. Hence, no welcome tea on arrival. Small hair dryer not near a mirror. Small TV. Good WiFi. Good breakfast. Nice view over the lake and mountains. Helpful owner.

The Carriglea B&B is located in a historical house. This is for sure a special feature and may appeal to travelers who like to spend time in these types of buildings. I cannot say I am one of them. But that is a question of preferences. The old furniture and interior are not really my cup of tea. I enjoy...
