We and my boyfriend did an Ireland roadtrip in November. We wanted to see real Ireland with its winds and rains. Killarney was a lovely a bit touristy town with lots of hotels and b&bs. Algret House was a practical choice, because you can reach all the attractions easily by taking a short walk, but still is located in a...

Stay here. Greta is the friendliest ever and you will laugh and have a great breakfast. It's close to town, clean rooms, and Greta is very helpful and is just really a great person. Kilarney is a great little town and you'll be happy you went.

Greta and Alfie are great hosts. Rooms are spotless and comfortable. Food is excellent! Just a short walk to town, maybe about 3 blocks. Town is easy to get around in. Ring of Kerry tour was beautiful and Greta booked it for and we were picked up at the B&B.

Arrived here without reservation in February. Greta, the host, was very friendly and helpfully providing information about Killarney. Rooms are small but offer great sleeping quality. For breakfast, one can choose among several options such as full Irish etc. The B&B is located at a 10 mins walking distance from Killarney center. WIFI works perfectly fine.

Greta was warm and welcoming. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. It was only a short walk into town for our evening meal. Can't fault breakfast or Greta's homemade scones. Would definitely recommend Algret House B&B and happily stay there again

The place is located in a really quiet area at night but only 7 minutes walk to the center with all the restaurants and places to go out at night. The owner is really...

We stayed here for two nights whilst we explored Killarney and the surrounding area and this was by far the best B&B we have stayed in all trip. Greta is an amazing host, the breakfast is awesome especially those scones! They are delicious and such a nice touch to our stay. The rooms are impeccably clean and homely, and just...

Greta and her husband Alfred are the best B&B managers I've EVER encountered. Hospitable doesn't begin to describe them. The accommodations were impeccably clean. Comfortable beds. The breakfasts are phenomenal! If I remember correctly Alfred is the chef and he is a master of the morning meal! We absolutely LOVED out stay here.

We stayed here two nights. I'm so glad we did. A short walk into the town. A wonderful place to stay. A perfect base to explore Killarney National Park and the Ring of Kerry. But the best comes every morning with a fabulous breakfast. And those scones. Yum.
