The best breakfasts amongst the 5 B&B's we stayed at in Ireland. Eggs Benedicts made-to-order, along with homemade apple & berry crumble, breads, yogurt parfaits, etc. in a comfortable breakfast nook overlooking lovely manicured grounds with apple trees. 4 of us were comfortable in the spacious family room with a clean, modern bath. Good location... short drive to the center of...

I spent a wonderful honeymoon at the Applecroft Bed & Breakfast with my wife. The room was very nice and the breakfast excellent. Kathy and her husband are so friendly and were a tremendous help to us while we were there. We would stay there again any time. Definitely 5 stars!

An amazing stay. Worth every cent and we confirm the rating 5+++. The rooms were very well appointed, clean, and serviced every day. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is simply fit for a king. Every little detail down to electric plug adaptors. Definitely recommend this establishment very highly!

Hosts: Kathy and Don are super. Breakfast: stunning, homemade cakes and breads, eggs from in residence chickens. We, retired couple, stayed 6 nights with Kathy. Quiet sleep. 20 minute level walk to City center (very enjoyable, especially after the full breakfast, 🙂). Fresh towels daily. Bed made daily. Friendliness abounds. You'll feel welcome.

Applecroft House was our favourite stop on our tour through Ireland. We stayed in several different B&B's on our vacation and Applecroft was one that we wish we could have stayed longer. The room was spacious for our family of four with great facilities and a great lounge and garden area to relax if needed. Also, one of the quietest...

We stayed for seven nights, our room was well furnished, spacious and immaculately clean, with views and access to the well kept garden. Kathy and Don made us very welcome and their advice of where to eat and what to see proved invaluable. This oasis of tranquility is far enough out of the town centre yet close enough to walk in for a...

This is the second time we stayed with Kathy at Applecroft House, and again we had a wonderful time. A beautiful location just far enough away for peace and quiet, yet a short walk to the city centre. It's clean and comfortable, and the food is amazing. If you love animals, this is the place to stay. Teddy, the jack...

Our family stayed two nights at Kathy Brosnan's house in April 2016, four adults and two grandsons. The house is beautiful, breakfasts are delicious, and Kathy is a friendly and helpful hostess--for example, she welcomed us back from a long walk in the rain in Killarney National Park by drying out our wet gear and shoes for us. We felt...
