No doubt the place has curb appeal, but we were not blown away by the hotel. The location is rock solid for exploring downtown Killarney, but the service was unremarkable and the beds were uncomfortably short. I'm 5'9" and my feet were hanging off the end. My 6'3" husband was miserable. The breakfast was OK, but the staff had trouble...

Dear sseaton68, Thank you for taking time and reviewing our hotel. We are little surprised with your review, very specifically in relation to the beds being short. Our superking size beds are 6`6" in length. So we are totally confused when you mentioned that your feet were hanging out of the bed and you are 5`9". Enough said. In relation...

The hotel is along the main street. Check-in parking is done by parking on the sidewalk where a sign tells you this is for check-in only. The real parking lot is half a block up the street, not a problem. The hotel is small and quaint. Our room was well appointed with heated bathroom floors. No cold marble to greet...

My wife and I spent nearly a week at the Fairview. We didn't stay at the main guest house but in the B&B around the corner, "The Copper Kettle", which is also owned by the Fairview. The moment we came in we were welcomed by the friendly concierge Les. He was very professional, helpful and well-informed - right from the...

We recently stayed 2 nights at this hotel on our trip around Killarney. The location is perfect close to everything but yet quiet. Beautiful decor, excellent service and the breakfast was great. After touring Dingle and the Ring of Kerry we ended up staying 2 more nights on our way back to Shannon. The staff was so gracious and helpful....

We stayed here with our family and were overwhelmed by the level of service, décor and cleanliness of this beautiful hotel. The manager James took care of anything we needed and arranged a bus tour of the Ring of Kerry which we also highly recommend. We wished we had more time to spend here at the Fairview and Killarney which...

Just returned from a 12 day Tour of the West Coast of Ireland. Our first stop was the Fairview in Killarney. What an absolute gem, charming and elegant, just a few steps from town as well as from some lovely walking trails. The rooms were beautiful, the breakfast was wonderful. I will absolutely return!

This hotel is fabulous. I agree with the review that says "run, don't walk to the Fairview". The location is fantastic (easy to walk to all of the main sights and streets for restaurants, shopping, etc). The rooms are a bit small, but very nicely decorated and comfortable. The staff is outstanding James, Shelley & Les, especially. This place truly...

Friends and I stayed here for 4 nights and I can't say enough wonderful things about this hotel. James and Shelley and the entire staff could not be more friendly and accommodating. Of all my trips to Killarney, my stay at the Fairview was by far the best. The room was immaculate, bed super comfy, the shower was outstanding, and...

I spent one night in Killarney with my family. We needed 1 double and 1 triple room for the night. What a great place to stay. Right in the heart of Killarney, easy walking to everything, and private parking. The people were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast in the morning was first class as was the service during our...
