This is a great lodge to use for a base for trips in all directions. Good value, clean and neatly appointed. Extensive breakfast that came with the rooms. We preferred not being in the heart of the tourist district because of the late nightlife/noise. Niall and all of our hosts were extremely helpful and nice. We were well taken care...

Stayed here for two nights with my daughter in April 2016. This is a very nice accommodation - larger than a B and B but smaller than a hotel. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms are basic but large, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a traditional Irish breakfast - very good. The dining room is...

Lovely hospitable friendly accommodation just 2 mins from Killarney town. Good sized rooms and plant of space. Stayed there for annual ring of Kerry cycle. They had breakfast at 5:30am the morning of the cycle to set everyone up for the day ahead. Top class.

Just returned from a 2 week introduction to Ireland. The Old Weir Lodge is everything people have promoted. It has a comfy family friendly feeling about it and we felt most welcome. We stayed in the room with 3 single beds facing the street.Ample room with a very good bathroom. Rory and Niells were most helpful in organizing our stay....

Rooms were comfortable with plenty of room. Lodge is an easy walk to a fun, vibrant downtown, with a very good restaurant/pub, Kaynes, right across the street. We watched Ireland lose to France;-( Always a family member (2 sons, Mom or Dad) at the desk and a nice lounge room/bar where the person manning the front desk will come serve...

We were on a family vacation in Ireland and I had pre-booked some bed and breakfast lodgings around the country. Most were hit and miss so my expectations were low for Old Weir Lodge. We were so happy when we arrived at this location--it is stunning in decor, friendliness and value. Beautifully appointed rooms--spacious with modern tile bathrooms. Close walk...

This place has modern, updated amenities like a hotel, but the front desk people gave the place a lot of warmth and friendliness. We really appreciated the family room so that all 4 of us could stay in the same room but not on top of each other. Great stay!

Checkin was easy and friendly. The ground and view of the lodge are lovely. We were so surprised to feel so welcome when we walked into our room: clean, bright and lots of room with 3 beds...1 double, 2 singles...oh my! Each of us has our own space...great! The bathroom is impressive with a warming towels rack and basic amenities....

We spent two nights in this medium-sized b&b hotel. The facilities are lovely, the staff are friendly, parking is right outside, and the location is about 10 minutes walk from the town centre. When we travel we always look forward to a good cooked breakfast which is a treat we don't get much at home. So we were impressed by...
