Tom and Mary are great. The house is lovely. The rooms are spacious and en suite. Breakfast are plentiful. It's steps from the bus that is a short ride into Galway city centre. Mary gave us such good suggestions, and took the time to map everything out for us. My fiancée and I got engaged while we were in Galway.... More

We stayed at the Marless House in September 2014, and found it to be very central and easy to get to. The house is a stone-throw away from the water and Salthill promenade. It is a bit far from the Galway city centre (approx. 45 mins walk), but the bus stop is right around the corner for an easy ride.... More

This was our first and only time we stayed in a B & B in Ireland and trust me there are a MILLION of them...but the Marless house was one of the nicest places we stayed in Ireland as far as feeling like we were at home. We got in kind of late and was worried about still having our... More

We stayed at the Marless House for two nights with our teenage son during our tour of Ireland. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and had no complaints at all. The location is exactly what we were looking for, far enough away from the city center and its many tourists and steps away from the seaside promenade. It’s located in the... More

Mary and Tom treated us like close family, amazing stay we will never forget. Everything you would hope for in a B&B and more. Tea on arrival, great conversation, advice, breakfast, and accommodations. Loved tho stay so much. Great in every way.

This place is fantastic! Mary is so kind and knows the area very well so ask her advice on where to go and what to do. Also, the place is SPOTLESS! Very well maintained and the bathrooms are new. I would stay here again or recommend The Marless House to anyone!

Stayed two nights at this B&B with my mom and can honestly say it's the best either of us has ever stayed at. The rooms were so comfy, the tea in the sitting room perfect, and breakfast, let me tell ya, was so great. Mary makes everything to order and has quite the menu. I highly recommend the scones, french... More

When we arrived at the Marless we were told that Mary was out. It turned out that she was out collecting a duplicate set of car keys for another set of guests from Switzerland who had had their rucksack stolen the night before. Just an example of the kind of extended service you receive when staying here. Once Mary had... More

We loved our stay at Marless House, Mary is just the sweetest person, she genuinely wants to make people feel comfortable, just like a lovable aunt would. She was always around to give advice and even though I thought I had it planned in my mind what driving route I would do that day, she talked me through how she... More
