Our last two nights in Ireland were spent at the Marless House in Galway, and we couldn't have been more pleased with our choice! Our hosts, Mary and Tom, were very friendly, gracious, and extremely helpful. Their home is beautiful, and our room had every amenity you could need or want. There is a lovely living room on the first floor for guests, and Tom turned on the fireplace, which was a treat on the cold nights we were there. The breakfast that was served was incredible - and so delicious. Besides an array of items on the buffet, you have an extensive menu of breakfast items to choose from - all wonderful and made to order. We drove to dinner and to the city centre in the evening, all a short drive, and although there are definitely places you could walk to, it was too cold for us! Note: When I first checked on Trip Advisor, it showed no availability for the dates we needed, but I reached out directly to Mary via the Marless House website, and she told me there was availability - so I would recommend going that route if you want to make a reservation. If your trip includes a stop in Galway, I would highly recommend the Marless House B&B.

We stayed at the Marless House a year ago. Mary was super accommodating as we arrived after flying all night from the States. She fed us a delicious breakfast and let us into the room to nap before we headed out to see the sights and sounds of Galway. You really feel like a cherished guest/family member when you stay here. We were lucky enough to meet her sweet grandson when she was in her kitchen giving us detailed driving instructions on how to reach our next destination. Wonderful family, wonderful stay....wonderful memories for us of our first night in Ireland. A belated thanks to Mary!

I can't say enough good things about our time at Marless House. Mary and Tom are thoughtful and available hosts. They go above and beyond by providing excellent tips of what to see in the area, an outstanding breakfast, and beautiful, spacious and clean rooms. It felt like home, not like I was a tourist in their home. If you have concerns about being on the outskirts of Galway, no need to worry. Bus transportation is on a block away and the quietness and waterside location outside of the city added to the pleasure of our visit. Mary also accommodated my friend's need of quiet space early in the morning in the guest living room. Make Marless House one of your stops. You will be glad you did.

My husband and I had stayed with Mary and Tom before so we knew what to expect. We were not disappointed! From the clean rooms and comfortable beds, to Mary’s breakfasts, you will be charmed. Nothing is too much trouble for them. We were lucky to be there while the family was in town for a celebration and got to meet the grandchildren. Overall, our four night stay was a true pleasure and we hope to be back again!
