My husband and I stayed a night at Abbey Lee and highly recommend it. We got there after a very cold, rainy, and windy day in Inis Mor, followed by a rocky and scary ferry ride back to Galway. We were tired, cold, and hungry! Marie helped us inside and basically treated us like we were her own children. Both...

Stayed here for 2 nights and couldn't have been happier. Mike & Marie are gracious hosts. Marie helped us with directions and told us which places were best to go in the Connemara. I had the best pancakes and homemade bread!

My wife and I stayed at quite a few B&B's on our vacation in Ireland and this one was fantastic! Our host, Mary, is a lovely lady who was always willing to lend a helping hand. The room we stayed in was spotless, roomy, and cozy. For breakfast in the morning, she offered a few home-cooked options, not just the...

Our first stop in our trip to Ireland. Mary was a wonderful host. The rooms were comfortable and inviting. Mary was helpful to guide us to great restaurants, things to do, and places to see in Galway. The breakfast was great, our first experience with an Irish Breakfast. We had a family of 8 and Mary remembered all our names....

Thoughtful hospitality and comfy B& B. Very welcoming and interested host and hostess greeted us. Marie & Michael were very kind and helpful upon our arrival to go to Salthill for dinner. They served delicious breakfast choices with dining overlooking the garden. Marie is very thoughtful and asks for the days plans to give any travel assistance that would make...

I'm happy to give a big thumbs up to this place Michael and Marie are welcoming and friendly and very importantly relaxed. We had the fried breakfast and it was tasty and filling and nicely cooked. The room is fine and big. What's impressive as well is that it appears to be purpose built as a B&B. The bathroom is...

My husband and I stayed at Abbeylee and were delighted with the location, the grounds, the hospitality, the breakfast fare, and the luxurious room. Having spent the day hiking in Connemara, we were happy to walk along the Promenade at Salt Hill along Galway Bay (just blocks from Abbeylee), but we did not want to do the walk into City...

My husband and I were in Galway for our 'holiday' in June. I couldn't believe when I was actually sad to leave Abbeylee at the end of our 3 day stay. Mike and Marie were the most excellent hosts; we felt so welcomed in their home. The breakfast was the best we had our whole stay in Ireland and there...

We stayed here in late May and absolutely loved it! There were 3 of us traveling so we secured a larger room - everything felt very spacious. Loved the complimentary amenities in the bathroom and free wifi. Mary and Mike were lovely and so accommodating with directions and tips on things to do. We stayed for two nights and made...
