All the right ingredients for a perfect stay: easy to find, price is right, extremely clean, free WIFI, and the best was our hosts, Anne and Stephen, were most gracious and helpful. Breakfast was always delicious. They gave us good information about what to see and where to eat. They helped with direction, calling for reservations.

We spent 10 days touring the southern ring of Ireland and stayed in 5 bed and breakfasts along the way. The Claremount House was, by far, our favorite of the bunch. The hosts are very welcoming, great cooks, and briming with great conversation and recommendations! They took care of scheduling a tour of the Aran Islands as we arrived tired...

(Note: TripAdvisor didn't let me select that we stayed here in May 2010. Since it forced me to select a date, I picked Aug. 2010.) This review is long overdue. We took a trip to Ireland for a belated honeymoon, and our travel agent arranged for us to stay at the Claremount House about half-way through our 10-day trip. We...

We were warmly greeted by Anna and Stephen at their B&B. Rooms were spotless and beds really the best. Salthill was very close to Galway city a short bus ride, better than taking the car and also away from the city noise. The views of Galway Bay from B&B were great and it was lovely to have breakfast served while...

The rooms were quiet, warm and relaxing, the beds were very comfortable and very very clean. Our breakfasts were well presented, very full choice...

I loved this place! I wish I could go back. Steven and Ana were perfect hosts. The view from our bedroom window was of the golf course and the ocean. Just gorgeous. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable EVER! Even more comfortable than my own bed at home. The food was amazing. Awesome vegetarian options also. Ana even...

Claremount House has a definite benefit ..it's hosts Anna and Stephen! Friendly, enthusiastic and very helpful, we were delighted to stay with them for our overnight on the way to Connemara. The room was small, but nicely appointed and spotlessly clean, as was the adjoining bathroom. A comfortable bed allowed for a solid sleep and the morning brought a full...

When you arrive at the Claremont House bed and breakfast, you are warmly and enthusiastically greeted by Anna, the owner, who genuinely wants her guests to have the best stay ever! We spent 5 nights there and it felt like staying in the home of a friend - the beds and pillows are BY FAR the best we've ever slept...

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay with Anna and Steven, it was as if we were visiting family. They were very friendly and the rooms were very nice. They made great recommendations for local activities and tours as well as places to eat. If we get the chance to come back to Ireland we will plan on staying...

Stayed overnight with my parents last year, and on arrival was greeted with tea and biscuits. The rooms and beds were comfortable and had the fluffiest toweling robes!!! Breakfast was a feast and delicious. The hosts were a joy, very friendly and helpful. Great place to stay, felt like home and would reccommend it as a great place to stay...
