We had dinner in the Galwegian restaurant, the first night 25/5........we were asked to basically leave at 9.45pm "how rude"!! The staff must have been eager to get home. The following night, the staff were very friendly - customer service was far superior........"Dean" you are a young man going places, very impressed!! Rasin......very professional :)

Flannery´s Hotel on the Dublin Road Galway combines all that is good about the authenric Galway atmosphere and character, along with modern hotel facilities. Rooms are clean and spacious, staff are friendly and helpful, food is excellent and plentiful. It would be great to have the receptionists speak in soft Galway accents- less Tourism School speak!! Was a 10€ taxi ride into town. Rooms were large & all very clean however we had a nightmare with the temperamental safe and had to keep getting someone to open or close it for us. Also, after we both had had a barely lukewarm shower the "safe" man told us there was a "safety" button at the back of...

For the price- this is a decent hotel and actually a lot cleaner than I expected given the outside appearance and the smelly hallway and old carpet. The bathroom and bedrooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel was quiet enough and there was free Parking. There was no pool although I had read somewhere there was. I also thought it...

Great hotel to stay on close to Galway centre. Food was great, breakfast had choice of cooked or continental but by far the Sunday lunch was excellent. Roast beef and Turkey and ham was great. The rooms were clean. Staff were very friendly. Louise, Ciara and restaurant staff thank you.
